So we'll get a new design? Some of them look quite weird, but I like the first one you posted.

I dont like the tower that seems like ping an just for that reason. The tallest tower of Suzhou must be an unique icon and far from another under construction tower.

Alleged finalists. They didn't credit the source. Likely around 650m.

That would at least mean more than 660m.

if the last pic is accurate, the tower would be far more than twice as tall as the Gate tower

I wonder if that's a helicopter pad or swimming pool.

It is not a swimming pool. It is THE swimming pool.

I like the proposal in the last picture. I hope they put an observation deck or some public accessible area(restaurant maybe) in the arch above the hole. Otherwise it will just be a waste of structure, waste of good looking structure I must add.

It would be cool to have "little" Suzhou hold China's tallest for a certain amount of time. Little in parentheses because I know it's a big city on it's own, just smaller than Shanghai.

height for the first proposal is 780 meters and is AS+GG design. The second is 750 meters not sure of the architect. This is what I found on Gaoloumi. China is ever inching its way to a Kilometer tower!

They didn't provide any source, just trollish rumors.
