With the revised livery for China Eastern (first on a B777-300ER), it looks like it has been applied too to a new A330...

China Eastern A330-200, new livery (reg. F-WWKK)

Soon to be re-registered with a B-xxxx code.

I can't help but think China Eastern decided that Air France was a great benchmark and decided to adapt... uniforms by Lacroix, same alliance and a similar livery style.

From today, you can discuss China's smaller carriers, including:

- Shandong Airlines (SC)
- Sichuan Airlines (3U)
- Spring Airlines (9C) -- a fast-growing LCC

World's longest aircraft to fly Sino-US routes next year
Excerpt

BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Air China will fly the Boeing 747-8, the world's longest aircraft, on the Beijing-New York and Beijing-San Francisco routes beginning in January, the Chinese flagship carrier said on Thursday.

Air China will become the first Asian airline company to use this model of aircraft. Since joining Air China's fleet in early October, the Boeing 747-8 has been in operation on the Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Guangzhou routes. It will also be used for the Beijing-Chengdu route starting on Monday.

Air China has ordered 7 Boeing 747-8 aircraft, and the delivery will be finished by the end of 2015, the company said.

If that happens, which US destinations will then see the B77W instead of the B747-8I? Currently, SFO gets to see the B77W with Air China.

Air China's schedule actually does not list 77W. I suppose you meant the 777-300? All North American destinations are currently served by the 777 aircraft type.

Yes. That's correct. But, once the B747-8I is introduced, could that mean Air China might introduce more North American routes to fully utilize its B777-300ERs? (And by the way, I refer the B777-300ER as the B77W... unless Air China refers to them as the B773, which is the same aircraft). And I think Air China also operates the B777-200 model (still)... yet, does it also operate the -200ER model too?

77W does not exist on Air China's schedule. Please use the terminology that the airline uses.

If you check Air China's website, you will see they operate both the 777-300ER and 777-200.

I have not heard of any new routes to North America lately.

Correction : Honolulu is serviced by A330.

Oh ok. I just wanted to clarify things because when I saw that Air China will send its B747-8I to San Francisco, that means the B777-300ER it uses on the route might be reassigned to its daily service to Los Angeles since the B747-8I carries a lot more passengers than the B777. And by the way, what's the seating configuration like for the B747?
