St George's Hall
and the William Brown Street conservation area

The William Brown Street conservation area is in my view the most beautiful part of the city. It includes the Liverpool World Museum, Lime Street station, the Walker Art Gallery, St John's gardens and at the center the spectacular St Georges Hall. Lets get straight to the photos . . . . .

Lime St Station really has cleaned itself up quite a bit since I was last there. I particularly like how the older architecture has also had a spruce up too.

Fantastic shots, thanks for sharing!

Do you have any pics of the interior of St George's Hall? The floor especially is one of the finest examples of Minton style tiling in Britain.

How Brits can seriously think that they aren't Europeans when they has architecture like that. So classical.

Brilliant photos Mossy. Made quite homesick. IMO your shots of Liverpool One are probably the best I've seen, and I loved that one of Bold St. where the street tapers into the middle distance. Fantastic.
