Daniel (figfoz)'s North of Ireland Road trips

Well, I went to Ireland for a week this year, for the first time since 2004 and I have taken a whole load of photos, from the north of the island, mainly of single carriageways. To those who are only interested in dual carriageways I suggest only viewing the first page.

When we first arrived we drove up the M1 from Dublin, I took may photos but it was raining so I took another load on our return trip, although this time they're a bit too bright .

Anyway, this is of the Dublin-Belfast route from Newry and south.

Entering the A1 at Newry-South

Today we are going from Derry, north towards Malin Head (the northernmost point of the island) first on the spur thingy of the A2 towards ****, then on the at least partly N-road standard R238 with a 100km/h speed limit, then on the R240 to Cardonagh, then back on the R238 which has the shape of U or possibly a O if it has a cuncerrency with the R243, then on the R242 to Malin Head, passing through Malin.

On the return we shall go through Buncrana instead of **** which will be on another post
