All hills except for one have been out of commision for such a long time, Tamar valley deserves to have them re-done. Cross country stadium seems little bit wedged in there and even though they mention snow making equipment it´s still risky to invest in a winter sport facility at altitude of 1000m.

Yes, we will enlarge the big hill to get back what is our-record.

Planica is also a candidate for Nordic WC 2017.
And maybe some year we are going to candidate for Olympics.

How long will they be able to jump after the hill is upgraded?

All 8 old hills in Planica. K-50 and K-70, two hills no longer exists on the 3rd picture were about 1,5 km away north from main planica hills, while all other 6 hills still stands. 15 years ago there were all 8 hills in function, now sadly only 1 is (flying hill).

Tamar valley is one of the coldest places in Slovenia and is full of snow during the winter so that is not a problem.

It's the greatest project in Slovenia in my mind and I can't wait for them to REALLY dig in

K-50 and K-70 (two hills that were still in use 15 years ago are are/were part of Planica ski jumping centre.
Location: at the entrance of the Valley (Rateče village) about 1,5 km east from Ski Flying Hill

Chair lift just under the top of the future new K-90 and new K-138 Bludkova Velikanka.

View on the construction site of K-138 Bloudkova Velikanka and K-90.
Chairlift has three stops: 1 for "Letalnica bratov Gorišek", 1 for "Bloudova velikanka & K90" and 1 for two new hills ("K-50 & K-70")

Inrun of K-90 from behind - stairs to go up are demolished (removed).

"K-8", "K-40", "K-30" at the moment (they will demolish them and on the same place build 3 new hills for children)

K90 - at the moment (they will demolish this hill and on the same place they will build K-50 and K-70)

Not much work on hill on this day (old Bloudkova velikanka)
