I think the Projects and Constructions area of the forum should have a Kinshasa section, and project threads for other cities would be at the bottom. Kind of like this

Yes indeed. Kinshasa needs to have it own section since majority of contructions and projects are in Kinshasa.

If I may suggest, the forum discussions (thread titles) be mainly in français, Lingala, Swahili etc... (or have a French and English title wording like that seen in the Quebec forum).

An English FAQ thread detailing were information is stored for those that cannot read either main Congolese languages – from which users could pose questions on what they seek. The RDC forum on skyscrapercity can only be sustained by homeland input (a greater pool of Congolese) and the only way to encourage such participation is to use a language familiar to the greater mass of Congolese. A failure to do so almost confirms certain death to the RDC forum, especially when the more active members will have to reduce their contribution or leave.

Since the inception of the RDC forum, I would have to ask how satisfied are we with the growth of the forum? (Converting first time users into regulars)Which social networking site are most Congolese likely to use especially when the internet backbone at home takes shape Facebook or Skyrock? If Facebook then which language do the majority use to communicate?

How many users are lost due to titling language of each thread? The founders of the RDC skyscrapercity will not always be able participate, how prepared is our forum for that?

Can we start deleting the unnecessary threads. I feel like there are too many threads. Some aren't updated. Or never updated since I've been SCC.
