As if the south lake shore doesn't already badly need a rapid transit line, hopefully all this new development in Hyde Park will convince RTA that the Metra South Shore Electric should become a CTA/Metra rapid transit line.

What was the name before? "Lake Village Center," the current name of the strip mall, means nothing and, well, sounds pretty ironic for something featuring a 23-story apartment tower.
