Good news. Jat back in Dubai. They are saying that Jat is 200euros cheaper from Australia than taking Fkydubai. That's when you connect with Emirates.

Haha so three airlines fighting for Gulf Market.

Yeah man! The more the better.

Btw here you can read what's it to Fly Dubai-Belgrade, however this is Larnaca - Belgrade leg. Nikola you can see what's it like to be in that new Larnaca airport. I love the bussines class in Jat;s B737.

Trip report 16 oCTOBER 2011.

BTW the cockpit doors were open all the way from Dubai hahaha. Only with Jat. I flew them last summer from Belgrade from Rome, and I had a very good experience. The B737 was clean and very well looked after.

Nikola, is Dubai popular connecting spot for Australian Serbs? When I look on expedia.ca, it looks to be the best option. If you go via Western Europe it may take as long as 30 hours. If you go Via Dubai, it's about 20 hours. Is everyone in Australia aware of Jat/Fly0Dubai flying to Dubai? It looks to be the best connection so far.

They know because JAT used to serve SYD , MEL and maybe Perth for two decades. It was respectable three flights per week in that time. 1970-1992. (Taken in the early 1990s in Melbourne.)

I have an interesting story. When relatives were traveling from Beograd to visit us in California, instead of traveling from Beograd, they took bus to Budapest and flew from there to Zurich, Chicago, and then San Francisco. It was 300 euro less.

That's nothing new, but things are changing. Budapest is cheaper because it has way too much competition due to being served better than Belgrade.
