That is fantastic, although climate and ventilation control must be very complex. I am also not sure how does sound proofing work there, or maybe workers in HK are just not loud (although in early 1980s they must have still used typewriters?).

I wonder what is the current trend in office space division in towers. There is a central core and around it, is it nowadays usual to have one big open space all the way around the core, or to divide it in a number of smaller offices?

Perhaps in Detroit you can find some of those but even there I've seen they are reopening downtown tower hotels etc.
