BIRDS!

A very interesting firehouse on Ward's island

Some of the exclusive residences on Algonquin/Ward's island

Great photos. I took wifey there last sunday and she was totally amazed. It was my first time on the island since 2002, and I was really impressed at how nice it was

(and how green it was ... the soccer fields were green, while everywhere else in Toronto they are brown ... I heard a lot of people commenting on that!)

Ok, silly question here...the two main neighbourhoods on the island are Algonquin & Wards ... which one is considered "nicer"?

Cheers, m

I think that is called a "Grand Union" and it is one of the most complex railway arrangements.

There are only 3 of them in Toronto (or was it 4?)

The reconstruction happened amazingly fast too. By the time CTV News did their "business is hurting because of TTC construction" story they were already finished and service resumed that same weekend.

How do the gloves help? And do you wear any special shoes? Anti-vertigo / seasickness wristbands?

I was walking east on Dundas, from Dundas Square and I noticed this building in the middle of the street. At first I wasn't sure what it was, then I figured it out. It still has another 10 floors to go. I love how it appears to be in the middle of the street.

Does anybody know what building this is? (under construction)

It is going to be one prominant building on the east side.

Physically possible, perhaps along the Finch Hydro corridor, connecting the Humber, Don West and Don East. Politically and Finacially - no way in hell

Btw, the last photo was awesome christos-greece! Toronto, the fast growing city!
