One thing we can all agree with, is we have some great photographers, posting great pictures on this site. Keep up the good work boys & girls.

Does anybody know where those beavers were spotted? I saw a skunk in Cityplace last week, near the Bathurst bridge. I wish I had my camera with me. I love seeing nature in the big city.

I'm surprised a beaver let anyone get that close. They tend to be very timid.
But they sure make for some fascinating images! |

The beavers were in the Spadina Quay wetland. They were at the southern end where the water flows into the wetland from the Toronto harbour. I was standing beside the handrail looking down on them taking pictures along with a crowd of people. The beavers were oblivious to the commotion they were causing and completely ignored the paparazzi snapping pictures. Tourists were asking what kind of animals they were. They never heard of a beaver so I showed them the back of a nickel to explain to them how important beavers were to the development of Canada.

Ohhhh... I miss Toronto ... saw the picture of the church tower on Yonge a bit farther north Bloor and missed it all so much.
Luckily have found a very good job at a lovely company and can now focus on work and count down towards my holiday in Oct. so I ll be in town and get around again when I am the happiest.

yeah I noticed it once I decided to go explore the area on a boring afternoon when I was alone and felt alone. I was shocked least to say.

Used to be the old CPR railway station! It is really the most amazing liquor store now; so beautiful inside.
