European railway stations (before 1950)
I'm fond of the old railways stations so I thought it might deserve it's own thread.
Here is the biggest station of Europe:Paris Gare du Nord with some 550 000 passagers each day(Sorry for my english I'm french!  )

Gare du Nord is like a typical european railway station to me. They are of great charm.
Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is another representative of this kind:

I agree with you KingNick. I did'nt know that the Franckfurt's one was like that.
I think you're gonna like this one from Limoges (France) which is one of my favorite .

Stations are always a great and vibrant place, especially those old ones.
The station in Madrid is great. I'm always impressed when I'm in Frankfurt's Hauptbahnhof (main station) because it's so amazingly huge and busy (350,000 passengers per day).
