There were only a few of these large Train Cathedrals in the Netherlands.. Amsterdam, Groningen and The Hague have simular buildings. Especially the one in Nijmegen is a big loss.

Suceava North railway station, also known as Iţcani (Itzcany) railway station

This is the second railway station from Suceava Romania. This railway station was at boundary with former Austria-Hungary, on austrian side. Burdujeni railway station was on romanian side

wow, what a revelation Wroclaw is, can't wait to see it in person next week. Hope to also see the masterpiece in Milan. These stations were certainly the cathedrals of the industrial revolution, much like the skyscrapers of today are the symbols of this age. I especially love original surviving ferro-vitreous architecture like Paxton's Crystal Palace (which sdaly burnt down after the war I believe).
