Btw Addis Ababa Airport has pretty low traffic numbers when I look at their destinations operated by ET... Is it O&D traffic or a smaller hub...

I think they have a fair amount of connecting traffic to points in east/southern Africa, and maybe also to points heading east to Asia....and I actually think they will do well at YYZ...pretty big Ethiopian population here, as well as a lot of Star Alliance connectivity...

Well, lets just say that Montreal is one of a kind city... You can spot A380 AF righ there. That's what makes Canada such a unique country.

My Somali friend will go to Toronto Canada after 1 month from Saudi Arabia his route is going to be Dammam-Riyadh-Paris CDG-Toronto i believe he is also thinking of shortcut by Emirates where his route will become Dammam-Dubai-Toronto he didn't decide it yet what do you think is the most convenient one for him btw he is going with his brother not family so the transit isn't something big for him

Well, their B777-300ER from Emirates look very cramped with 3+3+3 layout, but this time he will be on a A380. I would give a shot to Emirates and try the A380. Than again, I know that AF sends B777-2 and 747-4 with generous economy legroom. I am not too sure for A340-300 because that also comes to Toronto. So taking A380 would be a easier choice, but comfort would be about the same if not better on AF. The reason why I say cramped because I am used to generous 2+3+2 seating on a B767.

I like to support Emirates because Canadian government is playing some dirty games, as well as not giving them a chance. Than again, I am AF fan too, and I like them because they serve Belgrade and don't allow LH/star monopoly.

I am afraid they have to postponed it to the fall because Boeing is saying it will deliver the dreamliner in the fall
I think they better get the A380 for the long route (to North America they fly to DC and they have a plan to fly Toronto in Canada and either Dallas or Atlanta and their far east flights) and dump five of the ten outstanding order of the dreamliner.Because getting the Dremliner became a dream and its holding them from their ambitious expansion.

Addis Airport is not that bad. I've been fyling from both terminals there. However, the toilets in the arrival hall are extremly substandard.
