WUHAN | Hanzheng Jie Project | 666m | 2185ft | 380m x 2 | 1246ft x 2 | Pro

First images of Wuhan's 4th 600m+ proposal. Still concept obviously.

Hanzheng Jie is located in Qiaokou district. The 666m plot is at the Jianghan Park.

666m wow. i dont think all these projects in wuhan will be built. i can imagine one 600m building going up, which would be greenland. but even more? i do not think that this is realistic. from inhabitants and influence wuhan isnt a city like shanghai, beijing or hong kong. it just doesnt seem realistic to me

I agree. This is too much. But who knows, Wuhan has 10 million inhabitants and Hubei province has 57 million. It's like a middle sized country.

Wuhan has 4 600m proposals now:

Hanzheng Jie Project: 666m.
Wangjiadun main plot: 660m. Long term, vague proposal. I guess they'll build a much shorter tower.
Hua's Group Project: 638m. Very unreliable imo.
Greenland Project, 606m. The only serious one by the moment.

Surprisingly Wuhan has also several 400m+ and many 300m+ projects, but it hasn't any project between 450m and 600m.

some proposals may just be attention seeking. we have seen it before. they either wont start or may reduce the height to smaller levels. to the 10 million inhabitant fact. it doesnt seem to apply much to china. chengdu also has 10 million inhabitants but only normal development, although it is located not too far from chongqing and is like the bridge to west china after chongqing. for me currently it seems that outside this currently really booming cities (tianjin, chongqing, etc.) the cities still grow a lot, but wont built this mega buildings all at once, because they don't need them. greenland may be build as a landmark to give wuhan a name like a taipei 101 style project, but 4 600m buildings is just promotion for the companies.

Look at it this way. The more proposals there are, the more likely one (or more) of them will be built

It doesn't really look like 600+ unless the base is massive. But I like the look of Greenland Center much more then this. Plus, as you guys have mentioned, Wuhan (or any city really) doesn't need multiple 600+ projects.

Wish that only one 600-metre proposal in Wuhan would become reality. All four becoming reality would be overkill.

Concept images from some video. They didn't bother to post the source or the video itself.
