Mar del Plata looks like a very pleasant, beautiful city. For some reason, it reminds me of of New Zealand.

Yeah! The environment looks very much like New Zealand, and the architecture, while looking much like other styles you would see elsewhere in South America, also has a sort of Antipodean flavor as well—especially the residential areas.

New Zealand is full of wood houses. Mar del Plata is all brick and concrete.

That's why it looks very different for me (I'm not speaking about quality or rankings).

Beautiful indeed. It looks like it has something of Atlantic Spain and North America in many of those views.

How far is Los Padres from Mar del Plata? I was surprised too see the houses on hills, I thought the land area was more flat. Is that barrio expensive, because of the views, over looking the city????..
