info from hans sy himself. got it when he was here in davao last saturday.

tagal pa ang opening kasi uunahin pa sm city lanang dito sa davao.

the mall will be slightly smaller than the present sm city davao.

Oh I c... so mas maliit pa rin Sm City Gensan Kesa SM City Davao... ngaun ata ang gfa ng SM Davao is approximately 72,000+ square meters.... ano na lang kaya sa gensan? pero im sure it is more than 60,000 meters.. and hopefully, it will have at least 3 stories... the standard of SM.. ngaun nga eh 4 levels na halos naglalabasan...... ang robinsons gensan nga 32,000 - 34,000 sq meters lang eh.... pero we should be thankful because SM is a welcome devt. in Gensan.... SA santiago pa rin Sm o Apopong na? Sana Apopong na para madistribute ang malls gensan... kelan kaya mag construct NCCC mall? ang sa lanang malaki talga kasi 68 hectares ata yung lupa eh... so kung ganun mga developments.. KCC will still be the biggest mall in Gensan with 80,000 sq. meters gfa and expanding....

I do hope maganda ang design ng SM GenSan kasi currently yung SM sa CdeO & Davao, in my opinion ay di kagandahan. I hope na tuloy talaga tong project na to...Congrats GenSan in adv...

very clear ang discrepancy between kcc and robinson's.. definitely ang design ng robinsons ay mas superior.... mahaba robinsons but only has 2 levels... anyway 60% pa lang ng lupa ang nadevelop... more space for expansion such as hotel or bpo facilities right or it park... right normal lang and sm city davao at cdeo....

i think the trend is now for a cost effective, environment friendly and productive design. and also current SM's especially for developing cities are inclined on that design so that during expansions, mas madali na lang sya i fit in.

I beg to disagree na di maganda ang SM Davao at CdeO. Maganda naman sya ah.. unique nga lang ang design nya.

sana may rendering na sa SM GenSan. SM is now improvign its mall designs. look at SM Marikina, SM Rosales at SM Baliwag - magaganda na design.

Hopefully!!! Sana four levels din ang SM City Gensan pero based on the info given to us by our co - member, SM gensan will be slightly smaller than the present SM City Davao which currently stand with a 75,000+ Gross Floor Area.... SM CDo has a 86, 000+ GFA.... this makes SM gensan 3 levels at most.... anyway SM is SM..... and i hope hindi sa Santiago Blvd, sana Apopong para magboom din dun, over crowded na ang GSC CBD, i think the city should make a new cbd for the city like NAga city which has multiple cbds. the possible candidates are Bula, Apopong, Makar Road and National Hiway...
