if you are a general or you just happened to live or stay here a bit, you will feel that general santos city is indeed booming... investments are coming here in the city despite of the world financial crisis and Mindanao crisis. real estate here in gsc is a now a force to be reckoned with. with the establishments of 3 1st class subdivisions - La Cassandra (RD Company), THe GRenadines (CAMELLA by MAnny VIllar and Colinas Verdes (sta.lucia) and of course Filinvest who are rumored to establish a business eco park on their prime 120 hectare lot in tambler... of course there are Robinson's and SM... hopefully NCCC mall will really be established here in Gensan... new banks are coming etc... many constructions everywhere, schools, restaurants and etc.

Indeed GSC is the BOOM CITY OF THE SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES.

i think the govt of gensan should now concentrate on the development of the tourism industry of gsc.... walang maiboast ang gensan in terms of tourism both natural and man made kaya di masyado marami tao pumupunta worse it is the farthest city from thecapital... kaya to facilitate influx of people to the city, develop the undeveloped and underdeveloped tourism industry of the city, as if the city has that kind of industry to boast of...hehehehee....

The Dipolog - Dapitan Area is indeed booming.... many investments are coming in the area recently... but pagadian city is more progressive than the two... but still progressive pa rin...

If your referring to the two cities, mas unlad ang dalawa kaysa isa to think na Jalosjos pours P3.2B investment in Dapitan while Lee Plaza invest several hundreds of million in Dipolog to build mall and hotel.

no what i mean is 1 on 1 ang laban.. ang pagadian is a 1st class city on the way to HUC status while dipolog and dapitan are 2nd class with dipolog is on the way to 1st class status...

Dipolog is a 1st class city since last2x year while Dapitan is near to become a 1st class city considering its income last year was P290+M. P10M to go to become a 1st class city at maearn yan from Fantasy Land and other multibillion projects of Jalosjos. Na OT ta gamay. Kumusta naman ang lot ng SM Gen San?

as for the SM lot here in Gensan, i think sa Santiago Blvd. na talaga yan ksi all establishments there are all demolished.. dunkin Donut na lang ang natira... next year mag expire contract nila.... ah ganun ba.. last 2 years pa 1st class ang dipolog..... ang criteria to become a HUC are based on income and population... please see the LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991....

nakalagay dun is 1991 constant price ang income of 200,000,000, pero di q alam equivalent nyan today....hehehehe
