It will contain pics & small infos on each project & all updates & changes related to each project can be posted here. This will be an online directory of IT in Kolkata featuring all IT Buildings, Complexes, Parks & SEZs.

Millennium City, The GenX Techno Park
· It comprises of Two towers - Millennium Tower-I and Millennium Tower-II. Both towers have exquisite facade and futuristic architecture.
· Tower-I stands tall with eight sprawling floors while Tower-II is fourteen storey high.
· A plaza connects both the towers.

Bengal Intelligent Park is situated in Sector V, Salt Lake, the IT hub of West Bengal, a short 20 min drive from the airport. Spread over an area of 5 acres with more than 50% open space, it is a blend of four low rise office buildings (Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta) and a 19 storied tower, Omega which has a magnificent view of the water bodies, the salt lakes.

The low rise buildings were designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural consultants Studio U+A, London and building Omega was designed by the TCG design team.

The park meets all global standards required for any IT/ITES operations and is maintained by the in house facility management services team of TCG. Apart from IT/ITes companies the park also has a vibrant retail presence in Buildings Alpha and Omega, including cafes and fine dining restaurants.

Thanks Naveen. Wipro has one campus in Kolkata. They are planning to build a 2nd campus. Infy is also planning to have a campus in Kolkata..

Nabadiganta Authorities and the West Bengal Government need to remove all those hawker shanties from the footpaths. I have often wondered why cannot the government with its immense machinery and power keep even a few sq kms of the state neat and clean? I guess it's kind of a national malaise and more chronic in WB thanks to the political parties, social activists and police encouraging footpath capture.
