Cognizant Bantala SEZ

The Bengal Shriram Township Project in Uttarpara has started construction, so I guess the IT Park will be built in due time.
Also, The Calcutta Riverside project @ Batanagar is in full swing & the IT Zone will definitely come up.
Not sure of the status of Technopolis II or SP Infocity though.

Dhunseri IT Park U/C

IMO, Bantala IT zone has better civic infrastructure such as roads, overall space and drainage than Sector V, only if they can solve the tannery issues, companies and hotels can setup shop in the zone. Also the govt needs to widen Kolkata-Basanti highway to 2x2 lanes though

This is the other big IT SEZ project after Infospace. Kinda getting a little nervous about this project since they brought the 50 acres more than 3 years back and have done nothing with it. It came out in the media that they are waiting for the govt to build infrastructure. However there is a basic 3X3 road , so not sure if they are awaiting other approvals or not. Partha C may want to rap up the govt and company officials inorder to get this one going.
