Sicily - Fatal Fascination.
I have been entranced by Sicily for many years now, and have have visited on several occasions.
It has everything you could want from a trip: beautiful, historical cities, Greek temples, Roman remains, Arabic architecture and food, Norman palaces, Aragonese style. It has beautiful beaches, medieval hill-top villages and an active volcano...... so much more. I would love feedback from anyone who lives in, or who loves Sicily as I do. Beautiful!
Last January, I went to a small town outside Messina to attend a wedding. It was one of the most beautiful places I ever saw in my life. I wish I could've traveled further into Sicily, but time restricted my visit. Worst of all, I forgot my camera in Rome, so I only took a few cellphone photos (mostly from the wedding). This reminds me... that I should probably update my Italy thread with the hundreds of photos I took.
