We currently seem to have two threads for St. John's Shopping Centre - one in the Construction Forum, and another in main forum dealing with both St. John's and Clayton Square.

I've scanned through the combined St. John's/Clayton Square thread, and there seems to be only fleeting discussion of Clayton Square (something which would be regarded as temporarily going off an a tangent on any other thread) with the main focus being St. John's. Therefore I wondered whether it might be worth merging the two threads together, under the title of 'St. John's Shopping Centre', leaving the Retail in Liverpool thread for discussion of Clayton Square (or perhaps a new thread if something really major was proposed for Clayton Square)?

Thoughts?

It's been a few days, and there's been no objections, so b4mmy would you be so kind as to implement the changes.

The restoration of the Florrie is now complete,can we move this thread to the completed projects please Chris.

Is it possible to add a poll to a thread after the thread has been created? If so, would it be possible to add a poll of all the mayoral candidates to the 'Elected Mayor for Liverpool' thread, so we might gauge the feeling of those on SSC as to who they want to see become Mayor of Liverpool?

Obviously only one vote per user, and probably best to keep who voted for whom private.

List of candidates (in alphabetical order of surname) -

Joe Anderson - Labour Party
Jeff Berman - Liverpool Independent Party
Tony Caldeira - Conservative Party
John Coyne - Green Party
Liam Fogarty - Independent
