Eric Trump noted buyers are now becoming increasingly conscious about brands, especially in Asia. "People want luxury and they want to live in the best in the Philippines...It's what we deliver as a company, what Century delivers," he said.

Have they done any research on Century? The only project that could be considered among the best places to live would be Essensa and they built that over a decade ago.

I am excited to see this project rise though and I hope it looks like the render.

Man you make such an insensible posts.

How can you imply that being dugyot is synonymous with security guards? Because they do a low-paying and menial job? You must be some high-paid executive to make fun of them. These are Filipinos working hard and decently for a living.

I happen to look up to these people that you are insulting, the security and I would like to mention other utility workers like helpers and drivers. Without them who would be doing their jobs? Do you think you can Mr. Bigshot?

Man you really are something. You must be REALLY SUCCESFUL to mock security guards, I keep forgetting that you were able to afford a 22 square meter condo with LUXURIOUS hollow blocks as partition that you are so proud of in the beacon thread. I am sure the residents of ESSENSA would be really envious of that since they have only gypsum boards separating their units. They must be having problems sleeping by now. Oh, at least you are safe since you won’t be robbed of your WEALTH and RICHES in your structurally-sound 22 square meter apartment (I hope your equally-successful neighbors do not kick down your door for your sake.) That must be some real swanky place that you have.

Oh by the way go have a loooooooong look in front of the mirror tonight and enjoy it. I’ll bet you’re pretty good looking too. Wow.

Talk about mutual partnership

Trumps eye more Philippine projects
By: Doris C. Dumlao

Donald Trump Jr., son of real estate developer Donald Trump, attends a press conference on the launching of Manila's Trump Tower project Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in the financial district of Makati, Philippines. The US$150-million, 56-story residential building using the brand name and mark under license from the New York-based Trump will be constructed by a local construction company. AP PHOTO/PAT ROQUE

Two sons of American tycoon Donald Trump flew in from New York Tuesday for the groundbreaking of Trump Tower Manila, a luxury tower to be developed by Century Properties Group and the first of what is hinted to be a series of property projects involving the Trump brand in the Philippines.

This will not be our last project in the Philippines. We’re looking forward to rolling out a couple of things,” Donald Trump Jr. said in a press briefing. He hinted that talks have started with the Antonio family-led Century group for follow-up projects.

Trump Tower Manila is a $150-million, 56-story residential development project of Century with the brand name and mark under license from the Trump. It will rise in Century City, the Century group’s 3.4-hectare flagship development along Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City.

Century founder and chairman Jose Antonio said this project was very relevant in assisting the positioning of greater Metro Manila as a “cosmopolitan” city. He noted that cosmopolitan cities elsewhere in the region like Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore had captured a lot of investments and having a quality development and a strong brand should groom Metro Manila into a better position.

“Quality will always be remembered long after the price has been forgotten,” he said.

The residential units in Trump Tower Manila is selling at an average P200,000 a square meter. Based on the size range of between 57 and 400 square meters, the smallest unit is priced at P11.4 million and the biggest at P80 million. The units will be turned over to buyers by 2016.

Robbie Antonio, Century managing director, said 70 percent of the 222-unit residential development had already been sold since the project was launched in September 2011.

“The fact that a Trump-branded development is rising in the Philippines is a testament to the increased confidence of the international sector in our country’s potential to become a world-class destination. As a standard bearer of excellence in residential living, Trump Tower Manila also positions the Philippines as the ideal place of residence for global citizens,” the younger Antonio said.

Century Properties, Trump brothers hint new project

The Trump Tower Manila, situated in the 3.4-hectare development in Makati, broke ground yesterday and is touted to become the tallest building in the country when completed, even surpassing Century’s other project, the Gramercy Residences.
“Quoting Donald Trump: ‘I like thinking big. I always have. If you’re going to think anyway, might as well think big.’ Trump Tower is set to be the most important tower in Manila. With Gramercy having the highest tower status… Trump Tower, our third project, will surely surpass this,” he said.
This note was seconded by Eric Trump noting that the Trump Tower is a building that will be tallest in the Philippines.
“The building that has just uncompromised when it comes to amenities…Pool on the 38th floor, libraries… architecture is absolutely stunning…We look forward to be here for years to come as we watch this building to come up from the ground,” he added.

Century Marketing strat Trumps all other real estate developers as of now, imho. Getting Ms Hilton, then The Trumps... I may not be surprised if SMDC and MW follow the bandwagon.

i hope they won't. good real estate doesn't have to be endorsed by big name celebrities who are being paid millions which eventually buyers will shoulder. good real estate should sell itself well based on it's top-notch build quality.

projects

What do the Trump's mean? from what i've read they only invested name over this project and not any financial investment, are they planning to have a trump tower I, II, III and so on. The Antonio's should have use there own surname on this project, since the project looks great. Anyway the strategy seem working.

magaling lang siguro ang strategy and marketing ng CPI. Now, after reading some post, ngayon ko lng na-realize that TRUMP only invested on its "name" so parang lumalabas na naming rights. Why dont they bring the real TRUMP condos here in Manila in my outmost ignorance? If this is the trend in real estate, AYALA LAND may also invite TRUMP to do some naming rights in their future developments.

AYALA LAND is already a reputable brand name by itself... no need to bring celebrities for them to be able to sell.. the quality of their projects will speak for itself.
