Rajasthan ropes in corporates like LN Mittal group, C K Birla, Genpact and Vakrangee Softwares for setting up IIIT

JAIPUR: Rajasthan government has roped in corporates like LN Mittal group, C K Birla, Genpact India Limited and Vakrangee Softwares as private partners for setting up Indian Institute of Information Technology at Kota under the PPP mode. The institute will be developed at a cost of Rs 128 crore across 100 acres. "We have identified the land in Kota.

The central government will bear 50% of the cost, state government 35 per cent while the private partners will contribute 15% of the total cost," said state technical education principal secretary Vipin Chandra Sharma.

As per the provisions, the central government will have 50% stake while the state government will hold 35% equity. Among the private players, L N Mittal Group and C K Birla Group will have 5% stake each while IT companies Genpact and Vakrangee will equally share the remaining 5% stake in the institute.

"The private partners will bring in the industry expertise to the institute. They will help in designing and updating the course curriculum as per the needs of industry. They will also act as mentors and help in training and placements of the students passing out from this institute," he said.

Sharma said that the central government will provide support towards the recurring expenditure for next 7 years. "Then onwards the institute will have to develop its own resources for sustenance," he said.

The institute, which aimed at promoting research and development in IT and advanced and applied sciences, is expected to emerge as a major supplier of skilled resources to national and international IT markets.

The union cabinet, last year had approved the setting up of 20 new IIITs under the PPP model in a phased manner between 2011-12 and 2019-20. The cabinet has approved an outlay of Rs 2808.71 crore for the proposal.

राज्य में दस मेडिकल कॉलेज खुलेंगे

जोधपुर। प्रदेश में जनसहभागिता से दस मेडिकल कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे। इनकी की स्थापना की कवायद शुरू कर दी गई है। दस साल तक सरकारी अस्पतालों में सेवा का अनुबंध करने पर ही इन कॉलेजों में दाखिला दिया जाएगा।

चिकित्सा राज्य मंत्री डॉ. राजकुमार शर्मा ने सोमवार को यहां पत्रकारों से बातचीत में यह जानकारी दी। एक सवाल पर उन्होंने बताया कि प्रदेश के अस्पतालों में मुख्यमंत्री नि:शुल्क दवा वितरण योजना के कारण मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ गई है। नि:शुल्क दवा योजना का शुरूआती दौर है और इस योजना को व्यवस्थित करने मेंअभी तीन-चार माह और लगेंगे। इसके बाद किसी भी मरीज को निराश नहीं लौटने दिया जाएगा। सूची में लिखी सभी दवाइयां नि:शुल्क दी जाएंगी। इसके लिए अलग से सेल गठित कर उसका निदेशक डॉ. समीत शर्मा को बनाया गया है।

50 करोड़ शिक्षा क्षेत्र में

जयपुर में ही एक प्रवासी भारतीय के हेलिन्सिकी यूनिवर्सिटी के साथ मिलकर मल्टी डिसिप्लिन एजुकेशन इंस्टीटयूट स्थापित करने के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी गई है। दिल्ली रोड पर बनने वाले इस इंस्टीटयूट में करीब 50 करोड़ रूपए का निवेश होगा। इन दो महत्वपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट्स के अलावा कमेटी ने राज्य में सौर ऊर्जा, पवन ऊर्जा, रासायनिक खाद उत्पादन, थर्मल पॉवर जैसे क्षेत्रों में 15 हजार करोड़ रूपए के निवेश को मंजूरी दी गई है।

RTU plans to make students job ready

JAIPUR: With an aim to produce well-groomed engineers, Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has decided to introduce compulsory workshops and seminars on communication skills and professional ethics to sensitize students about global working standards.


RTU has 150 engineering colleges affiliated to it with an intake capacity of over 50,000 students. Almost half of these students come from Hindi medium background and, thus, fall short on soft skills.


"Spoken and written English coupled with professional demeanor are pre-requisites for a successful career. Our students are no doubt performing well but falling short on soft skills is hampering their bright prospects," said RP Yadav, vice chancellor, RTU.


RTU has taken feedback from prominent recruiters on students graduating from RTU colleges. They suggested the university sensitize students on etiquettes, cultural sensibilities, accountability, team spirit, etc. values. Sometimes students fail to understand 'cultural sensibilities' while working in a globalised environment, they must be trained so that they can conduct themselves well in such situations.
Ripudaman Magon, associate vice president, HCL Infosystems, a major recruiter of RTU students, calls it a 'path- breaking decision.' "Every year our company recruits hundreds of students, many of them lack professional ethics. This decision would make the students job ready," added Singh.


To ensure that the compulsory training module on communication and professional ethics in the first year does not put too much burden on students, the university is reducing the number of subjects in the first and second semesters from 6 to 5 in the coming session.


Another major decision to ease the pressure on students would be shifting of tougher courses from the first and second semesters to the next one. The university has identified subjects which the students find difficult to clear in the first semester and will shift them to the next semester. Computer fundamentals and computer programming have been moved to the next year as 10 out of 2 students flunked the exam this year.


Similar model will be in place for all management colleges in the future.

कोटा में ट्रिपल आईटी प्रस्ताव को मंत्रालय ने दी मंजूरी

जयपुर. कोटा में प्रस्तावित इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इन्फॉरमेशन टेक्नोलॉजी (आईआईआईटी) के प्रस्ताव को मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय ने बुधवार को मंजूरी दे दी है। अब मंत्रालय की एक टीम इसी माह कोटा का दौरा कर नए शिक्षा सत्र शुरू करने संसाधनों सहित स्थायी कैंपस के बारे में रिपोर्ट तैयार कर केंद्र को सौंपेगी। जबकि अस्थायी कैंपस राजस्थान तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय में शुरु करने की योजना है।


बुधवार को नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय की सचिव विभापुरी दास की अध्यक्षता में बैठक हुई। जिसमें राज्य के ट्रिपलआईटी के प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई। बैठक में भाग लेने गए तकनीकी शिक्षा के प्रमुख सचिव विपिन चंद्र शर्मा ने बताया कि उनकी पूरी कोशिश है कि संस्थान का पहला शिक्षा सत्र जुलाई में शुरू हो जाए। लेकिन इस संबंध में अंतिम निर्णय मंत्रालय के स्तर पर होगा।


उन्होंने कहा कि मंत्रालय की टीम के दौरे सहित संस्थान के लिए जरूरी संसाधन जुटाने में फिलहाल कम समय बचा है। ऐसे में कुछ देरी की संभावना से भी इनकार नहीं किया जा सकता। शर्मा ने बताया कि सौंपे गए प्रस्ताव में संस्थान में शुरू होने वाले पाठ्यक्रम, उपलब्ध कराए जाने वाली सुविधाओं के बारे में भी मंत्रालय ने सहमति जताई है।


उल्लेखनीय है कि राज्य सरकार ने एक साल पहले कोटा में ट्रिपलआईटी के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी थी। यह संस्थान करीब 128 करोड़ की लागत से तैयार होना है। सरकार ने इसके लिए रानीवाड़ा में सौ एकड़ जमीन भी चिन्हित कर ली है। शर्मा ने बताया कि बैठक में मध्यप्रदेश और हिमाचल प्रदेश की प्रस्तावित ट्रिपलआईटी के प्रस्तावों को भी मंजूरी मिली है।

निरक्षरों को तकनीक के सहारे साक्षर बनाने की तैयारी शुरू

जयपुर.राज्य में अब निरक्षरों को तकनीक के सहारे साक्षर बनाने की तैयारी शुरू हो गई है। क, ख, ग हो या गिनती। या फिर हो कथा-कहानियां, मन पर गहरी पैठ बनाने के लिए प्रोजेक्टर के जरिये पढ़ाई होगी। पाटी-पोथी का परंपरागत आसरा धीरे-धीरे खत्म हो जाएगा।

प्रदेश में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में शुरुआती दौर में 50 प्रौढ़ शिक्षा केंद्रों को मॉडल बनाते हुए यह प्रयोग शुरू होगा। इन्हें आदर्श लोक शिक्षा केंद्र (मॉडल एडल्ट एजूकेशन सेंटर) के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा। इनमें से 31 का चयन कर लिया है। शेष 19 केंद्रों का चयन इस माह के अंत तक हो जाएगा। पॉवर फाइनेंस कॉरपोरेशन ने योजना के लिए प्रदेश को 1.25 करोड़ रु. मंजूर किए हैं। इनसे प्रोजेक्टर, कंप्यूटर, लेजर प्रिंटर, एलसीडी टीवी, डीवीडी प्लेयर, जेनरेटर, ऑफिस टेबलेट सहित अन्य संसाधन उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे।

योजना की सफलता को देखते हुए भविष्य में क्रमिक रूप से इन्हें अन्य केंद्रों पर भी लागू किया जाएगा। राज्य में करीब 10 हजार लोक शिक्षा केंद्रों पर 15 लाख से ज्यादा निरक्षरों को साक्षरता का ज्ञान दिया जा रहा है। निदेशालय के अधिकारियों का कहना है कि मॉडल सेंटर के लिए उन्हीं लोकशिक्षा केंद्रों का चयन किया जा रहा है जिनकी परफॉर्मेंस बेहतर है और अन्य केंद्रों की तुलना में वे केंद्र ज्यादा सक्रिय हैं।

बुजुर्गो के लिए लाभकारी होगा

राज्य में साक्षरता के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर प्रोजेक्टर सहित अन्य तकनीक के इस्तेमाल का यह अभिनव प्रयोग है। बड़े-बुजुर्गो के लिए चित्रमय प्रजेंटेशन के कारण यह लाभकारी होगा।

Farmers stall construction of IIT building in Jodhpur


JOHDPUR: Terming it to be a breach of trust by the state government, the farmers, whose land has been acquired for IIT-Jodhpur here, again stalled the construction of the building on Monday morning. Last month, the agitated farmers demanding higher compensation, had blocked the construction of the power station after persuasion of MP Chandresh Kumari.

Laxman Singh Choudhary, who had been leading the protest, said that all the farmers had been assured of a good deal during acquisition of the land for IIT in Karwad village. "On this assurance we accepted 80% payment at the then DLC rate on the advice of the government, but when the remaining 20% payment was made with the same rate, we felt cheated and returned the payment," said Choudhary adding that unless they were assured of the promised return, they would continue their agitation.

There are 126 farmers, whose land has been acquired for the IIT and all of them are sitting on a relay hunger strike since February 22. "We were assured of some development by Monday but we have not yet received any reply from government side. So we again stalled the work of boundary wall and asked the contractor to go away," he said.

On February 17, the villagers had blocked the work of the construction of the Ground Sub Station at the site, which was resumed on next day amid police security. The police had registered a case against the villagers in the matter. MP Chandresh Kumari had taken up the matter and had assured the villagers to wait until the written assurance of the government comes.

A committee constituted under the chairmanship of divisional commissioner had also held a meeting on the issue and had written to the government for the opinion. "Negotiations with the villagers are in progress so as to arrive at a price, they want, to be sent to the government for final decision", said R K Jain, divisional commissioner.

Choudhary said that they were not against the IIT but they also want a fair deal with the villagers, who have given their land for this premier institution. "We want 20% residential and 5% commercial land and job for one member of each affected family. But if this is not possible, price at the rate of Rs 20 lakh to 35 lakh per bigha, depending upon the distance form the highway, should be given in return", said Choudhary.

Gehlot to give laptops to students

Jaipur. Before the UP elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) had promised to give students laptops if voted to power. Now, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also strayed on the same path. Gehlot, while presenting the 2012-13 budget in the assembly announced giving of laptops to 10 thousand students of 10th and 12th who passed out with flying colours. Not only this, students securing first position in 8th class, will be given special e-books.


Chief Minister has also announced development of science park in Jhunjhunun district’s Nawalgarh. For scouts and guides, budget of Rs. 6 crores has been allocated. A Commando training school will be setup at Jodhpur.


For graduate unemployed, CM announced Rs. 500 unemployment allowance per month and for postgraduates unemployment allowance will be Rs. 600 per month.

BUDGET: 20 हजार शिक्षकों की होगी भर्ती

अलवर, सीकर और भरतपुर में विश्वविद्यालयों की स्थापना की घोषणा

जयपुर.गहलोत ने अपने बजट में शिक्षकों की 20 हजार की भर्ती की घोषणा की गई है। स्कूल व्याख्याताओं के प्रत्येक विषय में 100 पद, द्वितीय श्रेणी में प्रत्येक विषय में 200 और तृतीय श्रेणी में 500 पद नए सृजित किए जाएंगे। साथ ही अलवर, सीकर और भरतपुर में विश्वविद्यालयों की स्थापना की घोषणा की गई है।

इसके अलावा प्रत्येक सरकारी स्कूल में कंप्यूटर उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। जबकि 8वीं में प्रथम स्थान पर आने वाले छात्रों को विशेष लर्निंग लैपटॉप दिया जाएगा। निशुल्क शिक्षा के लिए जोधपुर और कोटा में आवासीय विद्यालय बनाए जाएंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री ने आरटीई के तहत नए स्कूल खोलने की घोषणा की है। जबकि 1000 स्कूलों को क्रमोन्नत किया जाएगा। 600 प्राथमिक स्कूलों को उच्च प्राथमिक में बदला जाएगा। साथ ही सभी पंचायतों में उच्च प्राथमिक विद्यालयों को माध्यमिक में तब्दील किया जाएगा। साथ ही विद्यार्थी मित्रों के मानदेय में भी 25 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी की घोषणा की गई है।

स्कूलों के शिक्षकों-प्रशासकों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एनसीईआरटी को क्रियाशील किया जाएगा। इसके तहत अजमेर में ट्रेनिंग कॉलेज खोला जाएगा। प्रत्येक राजकीय और इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में इंग्लिश लैंग्वेज लैब बनाई जाएगी। साथ ही इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में इंग्लिश बुक्स लाइब्रेरी बनेगी।

मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने साथ ही 20 नए आईटीआई बनाने की घोषणा की है। इसके अलावा बीएड और एमएड को भी प्रोत्साहन दिया जाएगा। जबकि 5 महाविद्यालयों में नए बीएड कॉलेज और 5 बीएड कॉलेजों को एमएड में क्रमोन्नत किया जाएगा।

Five more universities to open from new session

JAIPUR: Five new private universities are ready to open their sprawling campuses in the state from the new session as per the state legislative assembly that passed its ordinance recently. This will come as a boon for the students who will have ample choice to choose courses of their choice from several private and state players.

Poornima University, JECRC University and VIT University in Jaipur along with Sangam University in Bhilwara and Career Point University in Kota will add to the tally of private universities. It will go up to 33 in the state including 17 universities in and around Jaipur. These universities are yet to go for gazette notification which may take a month's time.

With the arrival of these universities, the state's claims of becoming an education hub will be strengthened. In the last five years alone, the state has seen over 25 universities. Of the total this year, four universities are by established educational brands and one by a Kota-based coaching institute.

Creating entrepreneurs rather than job-seekers is Sangam University's philosophy. S N Modani, a trustee of Shri Badri Lal Soni Charitable Trust (who founded Sangam University) Bhilwara is keen on establishing a centre of excellence in textiles. "This is our basic industry which requires thousands of trained manpower. This centre will produce manpower required for different phases of textile industry-from processing raw material to national and international marketing," added Modani.

For these private players a new university is not different from their existing engineering and management colleges, however, the only difference they can make is 'freedom' to innovate and experiment in the field of education on the basis of their experience and learning.

Shashikant Singhi, director of Poornima Foundation is launching an MBA programme specializing in 'family business' for candidates who are second or third generation businessmen. "Here we have experimented with popular courses to make it more specific and value-based," added Singhi.

The distinct feature of these new set-ups is the focus on infrastructure collaboration with foreign universities. Arpit Agarwal, director of JECRC Foundation with 10 years' of experience in engineering is planning to venture out in social sciences and commerce. He sees social sciences as big untapped sector. "I would like the JECRC University to be known for excellence in economics, mass communication and arts along with technical education," added Agarwal. Both Poornima and JECRC are coming up in Sitapura extension.

Mass media university likely to come up at Diggi Road

JAIPUR: The permanent campus of the upcoming Journalism and Mass Media University is likely to be set up at the knowledge corridor, Diggi Road (south) here while, for the time being, makeshift classes will be held at the Suchna Kendra.

The ordinance draft prepared by the information and public relations department suggests holding classes at the Suchna Kendra till the permanent campus comes up. "The ordnance draft has been sent to the law department in which we have proposed the land at knowledge corridor (south). Meanwhile, we are planning to conduct classes in media rooms behind the main building of Suchna Kendra and for that we have asked the public works department (PWD) for estimation," said SS Bissa, commissioner and secretary, information and public relations.

A committee has also been constituted to design course structure for the university. Syllabi of other universities like Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication are being consulted. "We are studying the courses of other universities and will take the best from each syllabus. There will be a few new additions, keeping in mind the current practices followed in the media," added Bissa.

The state government has issued Rs 10 crore for setting up of the university and is keen to make the university fully operational before the state assembly elections in 2013.

इसी साल शुरू होगा देश का दूसरा पुलिस विश्वविद्यालय!

जोधपुर.देश का दूसरा पुलिस विश्वविद्यालय जोधपुर में इस साल के अंत तक शुरू हो जाएगा। नागौर रोड पर लोरड़ी पंडितजी गांव में करीब 70 एकड़ भूमि में सरदार पटेल पुलिस एवं सुरक्षा विवि का भवन बनेगा, मगर उससे पहले इसी साल दिसंबर तक पहला बैच शुरू करने के लिए अस्थाई कैंपस की तलाश की जा रही है। यह बैच पुलिस के लिए होगा, जबकि अन्य लोगों के लिए पीजी डिप्लोमा कोर्स भी जुलाई 13 तक शुरू करने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

बजट घोषणा के अनुसार प्रस्तावित विवि के विशेषाधिकारी एवं एडीजी डॉ. भूपेंद्रसिंह यादव ने लोरड़ी पंडितजी गांव में जमीन फाइनल कर ली है। बतौर विशेषाधिकारी वे सरकार से यह जमीन आवंटित करने का मांग पत्र देंगे, उस पर जेडीए यह जमीन आवंटित करेगा। उसके बाद यहां बिजली-पानी की सुविधाएं विकसित की जाएंगी और ऑर्डिनेंस पारित किया जाएगा। करीब तीन माह में कुलपति की नियुक्ति होने की संभावना है।

उसके बाद एकेडमिक काउंसिल बना कर विभिन्न कोर्स निर्धारित किए जाएंगे। इस पूरी कवायद में छह माह से ज्यादा समय लग जाएगा। हालांकि भवन निर्माण में काफी समय लगेगा, इसलिए दिसंबर तक पहला बैच शुरू करने के लिए अब अस्थाई कैंपस की तलाश की जा रही है। विशेषाधिकारी, कलेक्टर व जेडीसी विभिन्न भवनों का निरीक्षण कर अस्थाई कैंपस तय करेंगे।

पुलिस विवि में पीजी पाठ्यक्रम के साथ शोधार्थियों को पीएचडी भी कराई जाएगी। साइबर क्राइम, इकोनॉमिक क्राइम, ऑर्गेनाइज्ड क्राइम, पुलिस साइंस, पुलिस प्रबंधन, मनोविज्ञान, नैतिक शिक्षा, टेक्नोलॉजी और आतंकवाद से जुड़े विषयों के पाठ्यक्रमों में पीजी कराई जा सकती है। साथ ही बीए के पाठ्यक्रम भी होंगे।

एक्सपर्ट्स की फैकल्टी बनेगी

विवि में छात्रों को पढ़ाने के लिए फैकल्टी का निर्धारण एकेडमिक काउंसिल करेगी। फोरेंसिक साइंस, क्रिमिनोलॉजी, कानून, तकनीकी आदि विषयों के लिए बाजार से एक्सपर्ट फैकल्टी का चयन किया जाएगा। यह फैकल्टी विभिन्न शोध कार्यो को पूरा कराने में भी मदद करेगी।

कैंपस के लिए भवन की तलाश

'उम्मीद कर सकते हैं कि इस साल के अंत तक नए विश्व विद्यालय में पुलिस के लिए कोर्स शुरू हो जाएगा। इसके लिए अस्थाई कैंपस की तलाश कर रहे हैं। संभवत: तीन माह तक कुलपति की नियुक्ति होने की उम्मीद है।'

पुलिस को फायदा

वर्तमान में पुलिस के समक्ष आ रही चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए विशेषज्ञ विषयों के पाठ्यक्रम सबसे पहले पुलिस के ही शुरू किए जाएंगे। उन्हें साइबर व इकोनॉमिक क्राइम तथा अपराध के नए ट्रेंड की पूरी जानकारी दी जाएगी।

आम लोगों को फायदा

विवि में यूजी ऑनर्स कोर्स शुरू करने की भी योजना है। बीए स्तर के इस कोर्स में आम लोगों को ऑनर्स की डिग्री मिलेगी। इस डिग्री वाले को पुलिस की भर्ती में प्राथमिकता दी जा सकती है। पुलिस में चयन होने पर उसकी ट्रेनिंग अवधि छोटी हो सकती है। यह डिग्री अन्य विषयों की डिग्री के समान ही होगी, जिसके आधार पर स्टूडेंट अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी जा सकेगा। इसके अलावा निजी सिक्यूरिटी एजेंसी, ट्रांसपोर्ट, पब्लिक प्रॉसीक्यूशन, जेल और मेडिकल ज्यूरिस्ट जैसी संस्थाओं के लोग भी विशेषज्ञ पाठ्यक्रम का फायदा उठा सकेंगे।

25 स्कूलों में एक साथ पढ़ा सकेगा एक शिक्षक!

उदयपुर.शिक्षकों की कमी से जूझ रहे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के सरकारी स्कूलों में वर्चुअल क्लासेज की तकनीक शिक्षण व्यवस्था की तस्वीर बदलने वाली है। शनिवार को क्रिएटिव टीचर्स ऑफ राजस्थान की ओर से फतह स्कूल में वर्चुअल क्लासेज का ट्रायल रन हुआ। सॉफ्टवेयर के हुए इस तीसरे व अंतिम ट्रायल में शिक्षा विभाग के निदेशक हरसहाय मीणा ने सॉफ्टवेयर की उपयोगिता की जानकारी ली।


क्रिएटिव टीचर्स ऑफ राजस्थान की डॉ. डी. कविता ने बताया कि सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए एक जिले में बैठा शिक्षक न सिर्फ अपनी क्लास को बल्कि अन्य जिलों के स्कूलों के बच्चों को भी पढ़ा सकेगा। इससे एक साथ 25 स्कूलों को जोड़ा जा सकता है। ऐसे में न सिर्फ शिक्षकों की कमी की समस्या खत्म होगी, बल्कि स्टूडेंट्स को एक्सपर्ट से इंटरेक्ट होने से शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता भी बढ़ेगी। शनिवार को हुई ट्रायल में अजमेर, सवाईमाधोपुर और बांसवाड़ा को जोड़ा गया।

ड्रॉपआउट को कम करने पर होगा फोकस : मीणा

हर साल बड़ी संख्या में बच्चे स्कूल में प्रवेश लेते हैं, लेकिन मिड सेशन में स्कूल छोड़ने की समस्या काफी गंभीर है। ऐसे में इस सत्र में हमारा पहला फोकस बच्चों के ड्रॉपआउट रेट को कम करना होगा। इसके लिए न सिर्फ अवेयरनेस फैलाई जाएगी, बल्कि जिला शिक्षा अधिकारियों से बात कर इस पर फोकस करने के लिए कहा जाएगा। स्कूल में टॉयलेट और पानी की व्यवस्था के लिए गाइडलाइन जारी हो चुकी है। ऐसे में इस सत्र में हम मॉनिटरिंग के जरिए गाइडलाइन की क्रियान्वित हो रही या नहीं पर ध्यान देंगे।

The country's second Police university will start by the end of this year in Jodhpur. It will be called Sardar Patel Police and Security University and the campus will be 70 acres in Lordi Panditji village near Jodhpur. The construction for the campus will start this year but the first batch will be inducted by December of this year and a temporary campus will be used. With the land for the campus finalised now a letter will be sent to the government and then JDA (Jodhpur Development Authority) will hand over the land and an ordinance will be passed. The Chancellor is likely to be appointed within 3 months and then an acedemic council will be created to decide the various courses. While it will take time for the campus to come up, they will beging the police courses by December at a temporary campus.

बच्चे भी बनेंगे कानून के जानकार!

जयपुर। राज्य की नई पीढ़ी अब अपने विधिक अधिकारों को लेकर अनजान नहीं रहेगी। नागरिकों के मूल अधिकार क्या हैं या कौन सा कृत्य अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है, इसकी आरंभिक जानकारी अब बच्चों को नौवीं कक्षा से ही मिलने लगेगी।

सरकार ने ऎसी ही कुछ कानूनी जानकारियों से युक्त एक पुस्तक बना कर उसे अगले सत्र से लागू करने की तैयारी कर ली है। इस पुस्तक को नौवीं से कक्षा बारहवीं तक लागू किया जाएगा। पुस्तक का नाम विद्यार्थियों के कानूनी अघिकार एवं जानकारियां रखा गया है। 64 पृष्ठों की इस पुस्तक में नागरिकों के मूल अघिकार और कर्तव्य, बालकों के कानूनी शिक्षा, शिक्षा का अघिकार सहित ढेर सारे विषयों पर कानूनी जानकारी दी गई है।

प्रमुख शासन सचिव अशोक संपतराम ने बताया कि अगले साल से इसे कोर्स में शामिल कर लिया जाएगा। राज्य सरकार राजस्थान राज्य विघिक सेवा प्राघिकरण की मदद से जारी कर रही है। विशेष्ाज्ञों का मानना है कि पुस्तक बच्चों के परिजनों के लिए भी उपयोगी साबित होगी।

विघिक सेवा प्राघिकरण के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष जस्टिस दलीप सिंह ने बताया कि माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड से बात हो गई है अगले सत्र में राजस्थान विघिक सेवा प्राघिकरण की ओर से तैयार पुस्तक पाठयक्रम में शामिल होगी। इससे बच्चों को विघिक अघिकारों की जानकारी मिलेगी।

अभी यूआईटी कार्यालय परिसर में चल रहा मंडल पुस्तकालय सीएडी कॉलोनी में निर्माणाधीन अपने भवन में शिफ्ट होने के बाद वहां ग्लोबल विलेज लाइब्रेरी की यह सुविधा उपलब्ध होने लगेगी। पुस्तकालय में इसके लिए अलग से कक्ष होगा। वहां पुस्तकालय में उपलब्ध किताबों के साथ ही देश-विदेश की ई-लाइब्रेरी की पुस्तकें भी इंटरनेट पर मुहैया हो सकेंगी।

कई पुरानी व नई पुस्तकें शोधार्थी छात्रों और ज्ञान अर्जित करने वाले लोगों को निशुल्क पढ़ने को मिलेंगी। साथ ही कोई भी नई पुस्तक छपने के तत्काल बाद पढ़ने को मिल सकेगी। दुनिया के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जो भी समसामयिक घटनाएं-हलचल होती है, उसकी जानकारी मिल सकेगी। कोटा संभाग में मंडल पुस्तकालय पहली लाइब्रेरी होगी जहां यह सुविधा उपलब्ध मिलेगी।

मंडल पुस्तकालय को इलेक्ट्रोनिक नॉलेज सेंटर बनाने के लिए पांच लाख रुपए लागत के प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी मिल चुकी है। राजाराम मोहनराय पुस्तकालय कोलकाता के सहयोग से यह सुविधा मिलेगी। इसके लिए मंडल पुस्तकालय में दस कंप्यूटर लगाए जाएंगे और सर्वर होगा। इस लाइब्रेरी में उपलब्ध सारी पुस्तकें भी कंप्यूटराइज्ड हो जाएंगी। पुस्तकों के लेन-देन का सिस्टम भी कंप्यूटराइज्ड हो जाएगा।

मंडल पुस्तकालय प्रभारी दीपक श्रीवास्तव के मुताबिक दो माह बाद लाइब्रेरी में ये सुविधाएं मिलने लगेगी। नए भवन में आडीटोरियम होगा जिसमें वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग सुविधा होगी।
