yeah.. I think bouganvillas are better.... their flowers are more visible than the cadena de amor's.... and it is pink like the color of MMDA...

actually I'd rather see that green crawling plant on the rich's walls to crawl on the pylon.. it looks much more neat than the cadenas...

The green vines there look absolutely fantastic! It covers up the rather ugly color of the concrete.

Taking advantage of the long holiday break, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has started repair and concrete re-blocking work on EDSA.

MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando said the exodus of families to the provinces and the light traffic should give the agency enough time to complete the work on damaged portions of the 24-kilometer thoroughfare.

MMDA Executive Director Angelito Vergel de Dios said work would be concentrated on portions of EDSA in Guadalupe and Buendia in Makati City.

"Chairman Fernando wants to speed up the completion of the re-blocking so that when the people return to Metro Manila, a better and improved EDSA would greet them," he said.

The project will cost the MMDA some P62 million, but Fernando said he doesn’t mind the cost as long as it results in better roads for Metro Manila motorists.

"If we have good roads, we will have smooth traffic. We will also have drivers who will no longer lose their cool over traffic jams," the MMDA chief said. – Michael Punongbayan
yeah, they should fix Guadalupe, especially the southbound lanes--> so many craters--> parang nasa moon ka.

txns duds.
yeah that third picture with the bridge that definitely needs repair. I think that's Guadalupe section. the first two didn't look so bad. and I hope they clamp down on smoke belchers as it turns the concrete all black and dirty. This is the main artery after all about time they fix it up.

See...we can always count on dudz Nice pics The Ayala section of EDSA is perfectly fine, its very smooth. But Guadalupe, Shaw, Pasay sections and Kamuning are in bad condition.

I don't understand why the vehicles (drivers) don't stay in their respective lanes? That's what the lane dividers are for!

those pictures are great dudz! nice to see that there have been improvements since I left.

oops. sorry. should have made my question more clear. i meant the low rise, box-like building in front of it. is it an MRT station? Coz I don't remember one being built there when I left Manila. it looks really gray and drab IMO.
