wow! that's one heck of a traffic congestion. so are there really 6 lanes on that part of Edsa? or talagang grabe lang ang traffic that time kaya naging 6 lanes? it looks like drivers are becoming more disciplined huh; parang wala nang pasingit-singit

![]() i really didn't intend to take photos of it...i was eyeing something else ...but the sheer volume of vehicles on both directions just blown me away!!!:haha: but as ryan had said the good thing is that buses stay in their lanes which makes it more organized...but are they supposed to have 2 lanes? @612bv3: haha: especially the sexy billboards! |

Take this all the time, it's not as slow as that pix would have it. That part of EDSA is always moving , from Buendia to Guadalupe it ussually takes me no more than 10 min tops on normal heavy day that looks like that (ussually after lunch and after work northwards). EDSA may be slow but it's still regularly faster. Of course the same stretch should really take no more than a minute or two with no traffic. With the traffic looking that way From the Buendia to Ortigas I ussually budget no more than 45 minutes and that's door to door the longer wait is actually getting out of and getting into the cbd's.

Re the EDSA loan, the administration does not want to incur more expenses since their fiscal position is already over extended. She won't be able to get it down to a smaller budget deficit if they keep spending. Even if the loan itself will not directly affect the expenditure side of the deficit, the government will have to throw in it's own counterpart and it's this billion or so in pesos that they can't even afford to do at this stage which is what they're holding back. Some friendly deliterious effects of her over spending prior to elections.

Hello fellow Pinoy forum members! Sayang. Mas maganda sana kung may ganun para mabawasan ang pagba-bottleneck near U-turn slots.

That would have been great, like you said, it would have reduced the bottlenecks near U-turn slots and would have improved the flow on EDSA. It's a shame that it didn't go through.@dudz: the sexy ones are probably the most popular. |

That must've been really early in the morning on a Sunday... look, no traffic.
And also, I realized that fireworks are now bigtime business. They have billboard advertisements on the MRT pylons! Dragon Fireworks! |

nice pics pau. kulang na lang talaga ayusin yung kalsada saka yung smoke belchers alisen. Yung mga concrete ang itim itim cause of the smoke belchers. Pag naayos yon ang ganda ganda na. I'm also glad they're doing more greeneries and lanscaping. Parang tropical talaga dateng.

when will EDSA ever be expanded so that there would be more lanes? It would have to involve knocking down some buildings, tho. It would be worth it since traffic is chocking down the city and driving away tourists.
