No, I didnt.
I thougt, DG is similar to International City but location, infrastructure and quality of buildings much better.(of course prices are higher)
Close to Ibn Battuta, Mall of the Emirates , Dubai Marina and JLT.
I think it will be good investments.

Definitely better than International City, but the colors remind me of a nursery building. They've used solid block colors, it's a bit too theme park-ish.

WOW Another Nakheel building for Dubai, I think Emaar and Nakheel are compiting to be best in Dubai.

IMRE, you mentioned the build quality is better than IC, How do you know that in building DG materials and build quality have been to a better standard than the other buildings? - Pardon my ignorance!

I agree with the pastel type colours. Im hoping that when the "lush" greenery has been planted it will blend in nicely..

So people out there think that DG has been/will be a good investment?

I so agree with you on this... The renders looked rather nice but it reminded me of International City too.. I am happy I bought into the Marina, at least it has water, water everywhere!

On the other hand, prices here where not thaaat bad so DC might be the perfect place for young families on a budget.

But for me.... Not sure... I am no fan of semi highrise buildings like this. Either a villa or a high-rise, not something in between.

Yeah it seems DG is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the inner city enviroments and dubai-land etc. My be better for families who want more of a tranquil setting rather than a busy city with loads of tourists.

Has anyone seen the Lost City?

Discover Gardens - Tera Del Sol By Damac

Can any one help with this, what is going on with this project, me and my friends have bought 4 apartments under impression that it is a 100% Damac project - then we are told it is Nakheel projetc.

Now we hear rumours that this part is not going ahead at all - but we keep getting demands from Damac to pay all installments - without any update on construction.

as per our contract the aprtments should be ready by Feb 2007.

We are sure there are many like us out there do not know what os happening

kibriaasif, which project are you talking about TDS/2?
Where have you heard these rumours? I have not heard any such rumors and the pictures above of TDS seem to look like they are making progress.

DG does remind you of the International City! However the location is much better. It is near Ibn Batuta Mall and when Metro comes it will not be that far. Also it is off Sheykh Zayed Road. Jabl Ali free zone and projects like Dubai Marina and JLT are at a short driving distance.

I am looking for a 2 BR apartment in DG. But I am unable to find any on the net. All I can find is Studios and 1 BRs. Does anyone know if they have 2 BR apartments in this project?

Thanks.

Hello Sinbad,

Many Thanks for taking the photos. Its looking pretty good! If you have any more please dont be shy to put them up! Im very curious to see the progress. What are the surrounding roads etc like? Are you in Dubai regularly?

Just had a look at the Damac website and TDS/2 only come only in studio and 1 bedrooms. The site or I could be wrong.

Many thanks for the photos once again!
