My Top 10 skylines:
Chicago New York Detroit Seattle Minneapolis Vancouver Calgary St. Louis Cleveland Buffalo

I'm a kind of person feeling like living back in the 1950s, one who favors and enjoys the Golden-age, rust-belt cities of Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Detroit, and the Gothic skylines of New York and Philadelphia. In my eye, they have more character, soul, and history to be pictured than today's world-class, cosmopolitan, and sprawling cities. I've only seen four "mentionable" skylines in person. If I were to rank them, it would be:
1. Hong Kong 2. Toronto 3. Vancouver 4. Montreal Otherwise, my top ten list would be: 1. Hong Kong 2. Toronto 3. Chicago 4. Vancouver 5. New York 6. Melbourne 7. Calgary 8. Shenzhen 9. Minneapolis 10. Sydney The reason why Toronto is in a higher spot than Chicago (and Vancouver over New York) is because I do not care much for old architecture (such as the Chrysler Building) as much as I do for glassy condominiums. For example, when I'm driven into Vancouver coming back from Stanley Park, the sheer number of glass condos lining the highway by Coal Harbour amazes me. Another reason is just home-country bias.
