At Zaragoza there is no metro, only tramway, and only one line (see thread).
But one curious thing about this... 20 years ago, before buses had an electronic pannel with number and destination, they had a fix normal pannel. To help people, they were always different coulours. Black over white, black over yellow, dark blue over yellow, red over white... Not all blue, white or yellow where the same and helped too much to notice if it was the bus you were waiting when approaching. It was enough to see the combination of colours.

In Sao Paulo we have two networks, the CMSP 'Metro' network uses colors with numbers:
1- Blue 2 - Green 3 - Red 4 - Yellow 5 - Lilac 6 - Orange (planned) The CPTM Network (Suburban Metro) uses Gems with numbers: 7 - Rubi 8 - Diamond 9 - Emerald 10 - Turquoise 11 - Coral 12 - Saphire Until 2007, CPTM lines were known as letters, from A to , in the order above.

The 5 RER lines have different colours which are distinct from metro lines colours. And the funny thing is that, despite being more recent, RER lines have more standard colours than the metro: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Line A: red Line B: blue Line C: yellow Line D: green Line E: magenta We can imagine that if there were a line F, it would logically be cyan. The RER network had official color by lines since its opening in 1977, so before any metro line.

It's weird in Paris there isn't red line, which usually is the first color in other metros.

That color is for RER line A, which could well be argued to be the single most important Parisian railway line.
