The DA will be lodged next week according to the article, so we'll have some more renders and plans to look at then. I really want to see how they plan to address Beatrice Lane. I recall that in the previous Camelot proposal for the site, Council told Devine to look at including laneway activation in their information request, as the neighbouring Carrington Tower proposal incorporates a pedestrian precinct at the rear and half of a cross block link.

1 Albert Street would be the other side of the Road, therefore, where the existing hotel (and future rail station) is.

The courier-mail caption writer has a sense of humour with that 'aiming high' description.
It look nice, but it looks like the mini-me version of what would have been an awesome tower.

I think this one looks great, an will definitely fit right in with AM60 and 55 Albert Street.
I think the supermarket I great and definately a big selling point. I know I would have loved having one so close when I waS at QUT (and considering the nearest competition is the Cole Central Myer Centre). The cycle centre's a good idea too (and you just know council is going to love it). Not sure about the economics of it though and if it'll stack up as a business (I know the KGS cycle centre was struggling for a while) but we'll wait and see |

No, but just because it doesn't, it doesn't mean that it's not a great building. Look at The Wintergarden (post-redevelopment) or Macarthur Chambers. Two short buildings without any impact on the skyline that are still impressive.

It will be clearly visible from K point. Carrington towers will eventually hide it a bit though
