An Epic Aerial View Tour of the Wasatch Front Metro (Salt Lake City Metro)

Total population: 2.1 million people.


Ogden / Davis County area

This is the northern portion of the Wasatch Front Metro just north of Salt Lake City all the way to Ogden.

Salt Lake Valley

This is the center of the Wasatch Front Metro and home to Salt Lake City on its north end. The Salt Lake Valley is the most populated valley in the linear metro and largest in area.

Utah Valley

This is the southern portion of the Wasatch Front Metro. It's anchored by Provo and Orem. You can see some of Salt Lake Valley in this image as well.

Yah we actually quite a few on the horizon that have scheduled groundbreakings in the coming year! It's definitely getting closer to the days of our building boom before this recession.

Confession- after I saw this photo I sent at least an hour flipping through your entire photostream. You have some really amazing shots. I actually wish you had more Seattle because through your lens it's just that much more special.

Some pics I could take this weekend while flying over Imperial Valley, in Southeastern California.
The Imperial Valley is basically a middle-size desert, incredibly dry and hot but at the same time tamed by the genius of men and converted, partially in a fertile cropland.
