There are a few of them live outside the paremeter of the park. I was so surprised to see, behide Khmers, Loas people, and hill tribes, Chinese live in Voeunsai town few kilometres away from the park. They ancestors came and lived there for centuries ago. There are lots of mixed beautiful women there. Come and see for yourselves. It is not so hard to go there. Go up from Phnom Penh to Stung Treng. The national highway is in good condition. Before entering the city, take the by pass to Banlung, Rattanakiri. The highway should be paved by now. If it is not, then the drive is a bit bumpy. Stay at Banlung for a night ($15 a night hotel), and head on to Voeunsay the next day. When coming back, down forget to visit Yaklom Lake near Banlung. It is very good place to visit and even swim in a hot day. If you have more time, drive east to Vietnam border. The road is very good and nice view too.
