Thanks VJ for the rates and I had also enquired about the apartment rates.They informed me that if we are looking for the apartment facing Mangalavanam,then the price is little less and if we chose the one facing to the Arabian Sea then it would be of higher rate.

Regarding Mangalavanam, my two cents

What happened (i.e. creating a concrete skyscraper belt in such an ecologically fragile and scenic area) was ill-conceived. It is surprising that no one has bothered to unearthed the scam in selling off land to developers in such a blatant violation and disregard of all conventions.

A case in point is Prestige Neptune Courtyard. That building has absolutely spoiled the entire beauty of the Marine Drive. Imagine a public park in that place. It would have been one of the best parks in the world with regards to scenic beauty

But having said that, we cannot put the clock back. Mangalavana is dead for all practical purposes and the best thing to do there rather than leave it as a wasteland and mosquito breeding ground is to convert it into a Central Park. That will atleast ensure that the place remains a green belt. If left like this, it is only a matter of time before the land sharks will usurp this land as well, construct apartments and charge the moon with a tagline "Live atop a slice of Cochin history"

I guess Kochi will have the best skyline in south india once all the Marine drive projects get completed...

we still have lots of land to be developed

good progress....
This along with Dewa will make marine drive the best skyline...
we still have 30 acres more at marine drive..(purva..dewA..dlf)

where is hudco land ..that is also anothr 17 acres
