Well, I was going to post an update today, but last night it was getting hot (yeah, I know its the middle of winter :P ) so we opened some windows. And lo and behold all that wintertime Texas humidity drafted in and warped my city. Now that the city is in a state of emergency, I'll have to make repairs.
One thing I can say is I've completely redone the layout, map and general feeling. This new version will have way more streetlevel detail than before. |

Very Nice!
But maybe you should try another method of colouring...

Like what?
I also am going to throw away those ugly buildings that were colored just too weird. They dont fit in at all. And the next buildings I'll make are going to be colored in the style of the curved/pointed building in the last pics. |

Anyway, I've been using the largest set of colored pencils available.

Wow, that last pic looks amazing!
The buildings seem to be very small - what's the scale?

Thanks, guys. Yeah I do try to make it as realistic as possible. If you look closely you can see the target ad on the side of one of the small buildings in the middle.
![]() Scale is 1/3048 cause I use 1 milimeter = 10ft. Pretty weird, but it works for me. Last edited by SWFC fan; January 29th, 2013 at 11:15 PM. |

Fantastic building, where do you get the design?
I find the subscribed houses better than any on the computer printed models. One idea you could install another port. |

I really like the 14 Wharf Avenue, and you're right, this new street level detail is gorgeous!
To the weather, I know right, it was really cold and all of a sudden it gets mild and hot/humid, this states weather patterns are so bizarre sometimes!

They were some buildings from Oklahoma city that weren't to scale, so I burned them for not being perfect.
