As gigantic of terminal as it is, circulating through it is quite easy and nice. Great shopping choices for an airport. I like connecting through this airport than any other.

"Spirit Airlines moving to MSP Airport's main terminal"

"Spirit Airlines, the fast-growing low-cost carrier, will begin operating out of the main terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport beginning Jan. 27, airport officials announced Tuesday.
Spirit currently operates 11 flights a day out of Terminal 2, formerly known as the Humphrey Terminal.
The move will give Spirit more flexibility and two dedicated gates on Concourse E. The slots at Gates E2 and E4 opened up when Great Lakes Airlines moved to Concourse A and as a result of the recent merger between US Airways and American Airlines. The two airlines operated on Concourse E and were able to consolidate to fewer gates, said airport spokeswoman Melissa Scovronski."

Anyone have any update on the companies that submitted to the MSP RFP on the Hotel? I saw a quick blurp about it someplace that it had closed out with 3 requests submitted but not much else.

Hey guys, I am new to SSC, what's the fastest way to get to MSP from JFK or any other airports from the East Coast? Your fast reply will be appreciated

Where will you be departing from? Chances are that LGA or EWR can give you better deals (and more flights) than JFK. Shop around with Delta, jetBlue, Southwest, or United and see what deals they've got.

I have checked that there are flights in Delta and Sun County directly from JFK to MSP. I will travelling by either of the ME3.

Good choice. I would make sure, though, to check the layover times because JFK is highly prone to delays.

The U.S. Department of Transportation on Wednesday recommended giving Delta Air Lines a route between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Tokyo's close-in Haneda Airport.

With the decision, Delta has the option to add service between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Haneda. Delta currently flies from MSP to Tokyo's Narita International Airport, which is farther out from the Japanese capital city.

The U.S. and Japanese governments agreed in February to expand service to Haneda, where U.S. airlines previously could only arrive at awkward, overnight times. The agreement allowed for five daytime slots for U.S. airlines. Four of those were set aside for existing night time routes that could be transferred to daylight flying...
