I love Boston.

It seems such a friendly and intimate city.

I found some of the buildings, interestingly, French/Germanic in style.

@Milan Luka - Thanks, I thought the photo was a failure until I got home and downloaded it (or is it uploaded).

@Openly Jane - I agreed with some of the protester and disagreed with others. But, the whole experienced made me feel young & rebellious again!

Gloucester, MA, population of 28,789. Settled in 1623 by the British. Gloucester has two commuter rail stations taking passengers to Boston 31 miles away.

Fishermans Memorial, shown below, built in the 1920s for sailers lost at sea. Gloucester has losts thousands of men to the Atlantic Ocean and still do. Including 4 in 1991 made famous by the movie, The Perfect Storm.
