Mabrooooooooooook guys great game! Off to the next round!!

I was quite pleased with our performance today, for the first time since the Australia game in the Asian Cup probably! Still, much more room for improvement... and we shouldnt stop improving!

Karrar just changes the whole game. Again CONGRATS.

Jordan has INDEED been put in its place!

Man I was like studying for my Calculus test and got my siri reading messages for me from friends....dam nice! I got really excited. Good match boys! I don't believe it but this KARRAR is truly KARRAR.... I knew from the day he made that famous move in the Saudi box in 2007... he took my heart with it.

Surely deserves a place in Europe. I dunno why our guys are stuck with QATAR (We appreciate all the help Qatar is giving us ... we truly do!) but I mean it is time for our boys to see Europe. Iranians have been great in the BUNDIS LEAGA...may be we should start from there. We should make guys like Karrar go for a german or english team! Not dutch, greek or from cyprus. Get some belief in ur selves! come on!

same scenario except i had physics, match was from 3 - 5am AU Time and my exam was at 9am, lol, still i made the right decision to stay up, i could have never forgiven myself if i missed that match .

Oh, and BTW, karrar plays in the irani league, i think it was esteghlal or some crap. but for me i knew he was gonna be our top player before 07, i think it was 06 or around that time, in the asian champions league, he was playing for najaf at the time and i remember him ripping apart this qatari team (i think it was al sadd), where they couldnt keep up with him and kept chopping him every few seconds, lol, he was around 18/19 at the time and he scored like 4 goals on the qataris

and lastly, that picture with the guy and the chicken is priceless, chicken kebab anyone

Karrar is the most expensive player in the history of the Iranian league .. hes the top star in Iran now..
haha this story is real :
once karrar had a problem with a ref in a match with his previous team, so the Iranian FA decided to punish him, but suspending him for 6 matches, so the people of that city Karrar used to play went out protesting.. this made the Irani FA decrease his punishment from 6 matches to 3
hahaha

this is when he first became famous
when he was playing in AlNajaf
( this is the match ur talking about Haider )

Yousifovic how do you guys know that we're in the third ta9neef now? The FIFA ranking doesn't come out for another week. But if we are in the 3rd ta9neef with Uzbekistan then that's really good news, it of course means that we avoid facing them in the next round. Japan and Uzbekistan are the two teams that would really cause us trouble so now we're clea of Uzbek. If we get Australia from the 1st ta9neef and Iran from the 2nd then that would be perfect. We could even actually get first place, it's very possible. We've beaten Australia many times before and Iran aren't as strong as before, they were terrible in the last Asian Cup and they beat us only by luck. And if it weren't for the ref we could've beaten Australia too. South Korea is not such a huge problem either, Lebanon has showed us that they are beatable. Just as long as we're in the 3rd ta9neef now and NOT the 4th and hence we're clear of Uzbekistan, I'm happy. Imagine Japan from the 1st, S. Korea from the 2nd and Uzbek from the 3rd. We would definitely be out. Very excited for the next round.

our players are awsome, what are u talking about...

in in reply to chounz, if we are dedicated to really get their, we can get anywhere. No asian team is better than us, but thats if they continue being consistent, we are on a 5 win streak, if it turns into losing in freindlies, then we just make it harder for ourselves.

lol you use ur heart more than ur brain..
Japan can win us.. Korea can, Iran, Australia.. Uzbekistan can aswell.. we did not face any strong team so far.. I really dont think Iraq is the best in Asia now ? Though I wish we are and we will qualify .. lets see what happens..
Zico is doing really great though..

Yea... Iraqis always have something called the one man show. If Younis leaves, the team collapses, so he is always there just to keep them all going. If Karrar or any other player comes in they get ignited all of a sadden and play well! The problem with our players is that they don't really follow the tasks and the plan most of the times. And there is this captain ribbon thing....

lol ur just saying that cause u have that euro page, and you talk personally to the younger players from europe, and you are hence biased towards them...

their your freinds, your obviously biased and want them to play, just because they play in europe doesn't necessarily mean that they are better than the other players ion the iraqi league. Our league is cheap with standards, and stadiums, but the amount of excellent and amazing players is still heaps, we can take shabab and nashi2een team as examples.
