By taking the building down from its tippy-top to street level, you really get a feel for its scale. I was hoping to capture it at different colors from this same angle, but it didn't change colors last night.

I hope you guys participate in this. The Miami tower being nominated number five is largely due to my efforts in showing people what it can do now. It doesn't remain a static image, but changes colors constantly now in different color schemes.

The Night Cup will start on November 7. And yes, that does mean you can stop nominating.

If Miami Tower goes against the Tlatelolco Tower in the 1st round it should be able to win. The 2nd round will be very difficult if it has to go up against the Chrysler Building.

I think the Chrysler building is just a sentimental favorite though. These days, the Miami tower is capable of doing a lot more than other buildings.

Here is a shot I took with the Miami Tower lit up in yellow and purple for Halloween.

Where were you when you took this, Brickell on the River?

Either that or 500 Brickell. Def taken from the South facing North. Beautiful shot btw.

Look at the way the buildings line up here and compare the angle in the photo. I think it's a bit too far to the west to be 500 Brickell.

Probably, but without seeing the left edge of the building it's really hard to tell. The building curvature should be equal most anywhere in that South Eastern direction.

It could be 500 Brickell though if he is on the far left end of it and standing at an angle because you can get just about the same perspective from that vantage point. If that is the case, then the left edge of the building not being in the frame would make sense if Brickell on the River North is in the way.

Good of them to do that. I really can't watch much of the coverage. So senseless and horrific.

I haven't watched any coverage of it. I just keep surfing past it. It's senseless and horrific alright, but 6 and 7-year-olds this time? I can't deal with it.
