Woyzeck says it's shot in Germany, and on Google I found a German post-production company from Düsseldorf named Locomotion. They don't give info on their website about films they worked on. The company has been active since 1996.

I found a film music composer/sound designer from Finland named Michael Law. He's quite young though, born in 1986. He has a huge list of films he worked on on his website: http://www.michaellawmusic.com/#/credits/

If these are the right company and person, the film can't be too old, probabaly not older than 2004.

That's all the research I did for now. I like playing Sherlock Holmes.

Given the fact that Woyzeck does not want to give the name of the film, it's probably some dirty cheap adult movie.

Edit: Apparently there was also a filmmaker named Michael Law: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obit...chael-Law.html
I am not here to play games. I really would like to locate that bridge.
The film title is of little importance. Forget about the film. As for budget, I have no idea

The point is that if you told us the name of the movie it might help narrow it down a bit.

It is, and 1993 one at that. The nature of the film paled into insignificance as soon as the green metal footbridge came into shot.
I just had to find out its location.

I don't know, it says the production company is in Essen. Of course it could have been shot anywhere but the half timbered house just looks many you could find in the Sauerland (Ruhr flows through there).

Google Earth could solve all.
Starting at Essen there's a choice of East or West.
Placing markers will help as and when the river divides.

From what I have seen so far, there are bridges, but no green metal footbridges, only wide road bridges, and train bridges. There rivers seems to wide at times for a footbridge.

The locating appears to contain houses, without being too built up. Essen seems very built up. Outside of Easen to the Wast it turns industrial, and to the East like countryside. East seems the better direction to head in.

Anything between Winterberg and Witten sounds possible to me.

But then again it could be any of the tributaries as well. Good luck finding it.

Or any river outside the Sauerland...

Since that thing in the back could possibly be a wineyard, you should focus on the south-west at first. Good luck once angain!

..it's like a needle in a haystack

Then again - the river is wider than a simple narrow river. I hold on to some hope of finding it!

Would you Adam & Eve it, I've found the location of the green metal footbridge.
Since its original creation it appears to have undergone to extra work. The bridge is still green.

The image below shows the updated bridge, with the exact same two buildings to the left and right, compete with hill.

I would say more, but I would not want to implicate the building on the left with the film, as the building (business) has nothing to do with the film. Finding the bridge simply represented a challenge.
