सेक्टर -32 में वेव सिटी सेंटर का बुधवार सुबह भूमि पूजन किया गया। देश के सबसे बड़े इस कमर्शल सेंटर में करीब 24 लाख वर्ग फुट में एंटरटेनमेंट हब बनाए जाने की प्लानिंग है। दिल्ली से आने वाले लोगों की सुविधा के लिए मेट्रो से इसकी सीधी कनेक्टिविटी होगी। घूमने फिरने के लिहाज से वेव सिटी सेंटर में मोनो रेल जैसी रैपिड ट्रांसपोर्ट फैसिलिटी देने की भी प्लानिंग है। सिटी सेंटर के पहले फेज का काम वर्ष 2015 तक पूरा हो जाएगा। इसकी शुरुआत सेक्टर -32 में सिटी सेंटर मेट्रो स्टेशन के साथ सटे एरिया से होगी।

वेव इन्फ्राटेक के डायरेक्टर मनप्रीत सिंह चड्ढा ने बताया कि सिटी सेंटर का यह नया कंसेप्ट देश में कमर्शल रीयल एस्टेट के लैंड स्कैप को बदलकर रख देगा। 152 एकड़ क्षेत्र में लगभग चार करोड़ वर्ग फुट एरिया बिल्ट अप होगा। इसमें 90 लाख वर्ग फुट सर्विस अपार्टमेंट और 90 लाख वर्ग फुट एरिया रिहायशी सुविधा के लिहाज से रिजर्व रहेगा। सिटी सेंटर का काम अगले 15 साल में पूरा होगा। वेव इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर ग्रुप के डायरेक्टर आर . के . जैन ने बताया प्रोजेक्ट के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए निदेशक आर . के . जैन ने बताया कि यहां छह लाख वर्ग फुट कमर्शल स्पेस होगा। इसमें मिनिमम इन्वेस्टमेंट तीन करोड़ के करीब होगा। इसी तरह 90 लाख वर्ग फुट के सर्विस अपार्टमेंट में सुसज्जित स्टूडियो होंगे। इन स्टूडियो की कीमत लोकेशन के हिसाब से 55 लाख रुपये से लेकर 70 लाख रुपये तक होगी। इनके अलावा लग्जरी फ्लैट का प्रावधान भी किया गया है। इनके लिए भी 90 लाख वर्ग फुट एरिया रिजर्व रखा गया है। इन फ्लैटों की कीमतें 1.25 करोड़ से लेकर चार करोड़ के बीच रखी गई है। यहां टावरों की ऊंचाई 70 स्टोरी तक जा सकती है। इसी सेंटर में तीन से चार फाइव स्टार होटल भी होंगे।

अंडरपास से सीधे पहुंचेंगे नोएडा स्टेडियम

करीब 6 लाख 20 हजार वर्ग मीटर एरिया में फैले वेव सिटी सेंटर की प्लानिंग इस तरह की गई है कि इसके बीचोंबीच इस तरह की सड़क को डिजाइन किया गया है कि यह सिटी सेंटर मेट्रो स्टेशन से पहले ही लेफ्ट साइड में टर्न करेगी और सिटी सेंटर के बीच से होती हुई सीधे स्पाइस और एडोब के बीच जाकर स्टेडियम के पास निकलेगी। इसके लिए मास्टरप्लान रोड नंबर 2 के नीचे अंडरपास बनाया जाएगा।

20 पर्सेंट एरिया रखा जाएगा ग्रीन

वेव इन्फ्राटेक के डिजाइन में सिटी सेंटर की ज्यादातर बिल्डिंगें ऊंची होंगी। इस वजह से यहां करीब 20 पर्सेंट एरिया ग्रीन रखा गया है। यहां दुनिया की बेहतरीन लैंड स्केपिंग का नजारा देखने को मिलेगा।

hope thats true mate!! With all the disappointments on India Tower, APIIC, Lanco Infratechs Iconic tower - we really need a concrete iconic tower in the country!!

ive said it b4 and i say it again.
the time is not right for iconic towers in india yet.
there are patterns that apply to all countries.
iconic towers appear at a certain point in a countries developement.
india is gdp/per cap as thailand was in 1985
or as china was in 2000.(source wiki)
At 6% growth (ave over a decade) it is growing at the rate thailand was in the asian tiger years.
But its 3% slower than china has managed over the past 30 years.
so it will take 17 years to get to where china is now or 27 years to get to where thailand is now.(a bit longer for malaysia)
both those countries only got their iconic towers in the past decade , more or less.
So in indias case one can assume that its going to be at least a decade probably more b4 it gets an iconic spertall

Right...for another 30-40 years its better we wont go for iconic towers...and in india basic infrastructure is very poor..almost similar to african countries...so strong basic infrastructure like proper roads, clean railway stations, railway infrastructure should be built..

interesting that you mentioned africa. i just bumped into a mate whose returned to india from a 6 country travel in africa.
And he said that he showed pix of india to the africans he met and they all thought it was pics of there country.

Since this ad has appeared after the SP won the elections, it looks like they're cool with Wave developing this. They launched the first phase on Tuesday:

When asdked whether the project would be affected after change in the political scenario in UP as the company is perceived to be close to Mayawati, Chadha said: "We have been doing business in UP from last 60 years. We do not envisage any problem".

The land has been registered and the company expects to get all the necessary approvals to start the development of the project within few weeks, he added.


On the project cost, Chadha said the company would invest Rs 4,000 crore to construct the first phase of township covering about 50 acres of land.

"We will fund this investment from internal accruals, advances from customers, debt and private equity," he added. Giving details about the township, Chadha said the total size would be 40 million square feet, of which the company would develop 9.5 million square feet in the first phase to be delivered by 2016.

In the first phase, the company will develop 1,400 housing units with a starting price of over Rs one crore, 900 studio apartments, 370 high street shop condominiums, two hotels comprising 400 rooms, a shopping mall covering two million square feet of area and 1.8 million square feet of office area.

The entire township will have 3,000 hotel rooms in various categories and 43,000 car parking facilities.
^ No mention of the iconic tower being developed in the 1st phase though.

Phase 1 includes the area demarcated by the red lines. The iconic tower will be built at a later stage and is atleast 4-5 years from being launched.

That probably will not be the official design of the Iconic Tower as it looks like a copy of the CMA Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia -

service residence wave amore is of 40fl so by looking at the render it looks like the wave iconic tower is going to be 100fl+ .

Even in the website it says "An Eye conic Tower of approx 100 floors is coming which would be one of the biggest in North India."
