I have always been fascinated with Turkey and Istanbul.
Too bad pictures are small.

Nice photos

Now Istambul is investing in improving the rail system... Light Rail, metro...
The metro stations look great and modern, but trains are exactly the same as the metro system of Caracas... curious. I suposse that both are built by same builder (Alstom).

Is there any plan for a rail link between Europe and Asia????

Geez, the underground passages are too long. You could run a 2 stop bus route in there. Not a fan of the interior colors of the stock.

Istanbul's new buses: Mercedes-Benz Citaro

Istanbul Municipality purchased 450 Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses (350 regular, 100 long). Mercedes-Benz gave 3 more as a gift, which brings the total to 453 (353 regular, 100 long)

The same buses are used in Maastricht:

A long one (one of 100) seen during trials in Germany:
