Rent a car there...to go there with your car is useless, for the simple motivation that Nuuk, the capital, is isolated... actually there aren't roads to connect it to other towns.

Kangerlussuaq

It s a settlement of 550 inhabitants in western Greenland in the Qeqqata municipality, located at the head of a fjord of the same name. It is Greenland's main air transport hub, being the site of Greenland's largest commercial airport. A gravel road connects Kangerlussuaq with the ice sheet, initially serving as venue for car endurance experiments. Since then it is mainly used for tourist purposes. Construction of a road to Sisimiut (170 km) has been discussed for several years without resolution. The cost estimates have been between 250-500 MDKK, depending on road quality, but it has been considered expensive, and therefore the plans are delayed.

I think you've showed us all roads in Nuuk. What's the longest road in Greenland?

Nice question. The longest road in Greenland goes to Kangerlussuaq to the port on the Sondrestrom Fjord. It's long 14 miles (22,5 Km). Always there, a 13 km road from Kangerlussaq airport to the harbour is the longest paved road in Greenland. In total, there are around 150 Km of roads in Greenland

No

Nuuk is not so much in the north as it seems. It has the same latitudine of Reykjavik, 240 km south of Arctic Circle. Do you want to see a northern Spar? Here you have

image hosted on flickr

this is in Tromsø, Norway, 350 Km north of Arctic Circle...590 Km norther than the Spar in Nuuk

there are some roads on the ice sheet, but nothing which links distant towns. The morphology of the land doesn't permit the constructions of ice road due high mountains and long distances without anything.

Ice roads are usually "constructed" across frozen lakes and rivers, I don't think Greenland has many of those. There are probably only a few seasonal rivers and ice is usually in the form of glaciers, where you cannot build an ice road across. I also doubt if coastal waters freeze this far south.
