how bout warsaw?? how is poland's economy doin right now?? good that the country is now an official EU member, are phil's & poles' eco setting comparable to each other?? wala lang curious lang ako, coz iv been hearing many positive things bout them now, eh pano naman tayo??!!

Not to belittle Poland but I think the Philippines is faring better than Poland. Somehow we have the edge since we have over 8 million overseas workers helping the local economy.

Maybe their economy is good enough that they do not need to export their labor?

Poland has been doing well. This year it just joined the European Union like said. I doubt we are faring better.

I think there's no comparison. Just the fact that we're exporting domestic labor is indicting of how sad the economy and industrial output in the Philippines is. If the jobs were in the Philippines, there wouldn't be such a thing as OFW. Poland has a pretty large industrial base. We're not even in the same league.
