OT: I don't think the Star of David is satanic or pagan in origin, otherwise Christianity will also be pagan in origin because Diyos (Christian God) => Deus => Zeus (Greek pagan God). So Diyos originated from Zeus.

This is the Maenstranza now. Abandoned yet again due to inaction by the current government. It's sad to see projects like this lay to waste due to excessive politicking and noynoying. Same fate with the Pasig River Ferry nearby, which was closed down by this government, and according to a posted bulletin, is allegedly placed under review and will reopen pending further studies. We've heard of those promises before. Two years have passed, the Maestranza and the Pasig River Ferry appears to have been mothballed by this noynoying government

With all my due respect, you Filipinos have what you deserve... Neglect is not a good feeling and your devotion towards Americans as if they were Gods, apart from ridiculous, is leading you to a never-ending conflict of identity… I don’t speak about you specifically, but nowadays most of Filipinos continue to deny their Hispanic past. As long as this attitude persists, things won’t change that much… Note that I love Filipinas and I have very good friends there, but this is what I think, excuse my saying so… Regards from Spain.

Masarap mag-picture kasi walang tao.

So, i was partially right that the ayuntamiento was white in the american era.

Anyway, ganda ganda ng Ayuntamiento! Yan ang masasabi kong talagang restoration work ! Sana Aduana naman ang isunod!

Earlier I was at the Intramuros and I saw through the windows of the Ayuntamiento hints that the interiors are very modern

Yes. See those pavement that is now covered in debris and those lamp posts where some of the lamps have been stolen? They were started during the previous administration. The Maestranza project broke ground under the Bambi Harper's grand Intramuros plan. But check it out now, under this noynoying government, it looks neglected and abandoned.

I thought that the maestranza project was supposed to be finish by now and how come that it was stop by the current administration. During Arroyo's term this place was clean and full of potential, now its being neglected by the current administration. President Aquino is only good at promising but poor in action. Lots of big words with empty meaning. Lets just hope that we are walking in the tuwid na daan.
