thank you again for sharing these images, wein 16...apparently back then this particular photographer had the sense of appreciation and foresight to capture the remains of the former Walled City on film.

My grandma was lucky enough to see manila and intramuros in this state before it was blown up in WW2.

Not only that, nami-miss na nya yun mga tramvia at yun kalinisan ng old manila. Napapaiyak nalang sya kapag nakikita nya yun 'modern' manila...

Kung tutuusin ang city of manila, and a few other cities lang talga ang ubod ng dumi at baho. Maraming lugar sa metro manila tulad ng pasig, las pinas, marikina etc ay talaga namang kaaya-aya. Nasa namumuno lamang yan.

McDonalds just had a commercial shooting at the main entrance of The Bureau of Treasury (Ayuntamiento) featuring a group of uniformed preschoolers singing in chorus with their teacher.
