I know, onsarigo did an excellent job. Shows you how arrogant and corrupt govt officials are (case in point that Murungaru guy). At the end, the guy was like the police forced him to eat the other guy's brain, I was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apprently part two is even more horrid.

Yeah i watched part 2,in swahili. And it was like a horror movie. Its moments like this that i support the death penalty. The worst part is that the OCPD,DC and mr Sunkuli who commissioned the murders are still in office and promoted.

I have ever witnessed an extra-judicial execution of thugs in our neighbourhood and the things that were done to those boys before being killed extinguished all respect i had for kenyan police. Thats just one featured case with bone chilling accounts from witnesses. If i were to be asked the police unit needed to be disbanded then a thorough examination done on every individuals record before re-admission.

Dr. Chris Murungaru. His wealth literally raised eyebrows. He was basically broke right before Kibaki came to power, then fabulously wealthy shortly after. I remember everyone in Nyeri noticed that drastic change in fortunes. After this story, it all ties up.

What is depressing is the fact that these thugs are still in office. Who is protecting them? Kibaki? Wako? Raila? Who?

Interesting question: indeed, who is protecting them?

Kibaki, Raila or Wako? Raila has no powers to do anything ... he is a passenger in GoK, pampered by the real ruling class. Wako? He doesn't really care what happens ... isn't this the self-same guy who was described by a UN expert as the "epitome of the culture of impunity in Kenya"?

First, you will realise that under Kibaki Kenya has literally blossomed ... the economy has tripled, the middle class expanded, 3000kms of new roads, etc, only to realise later that actually what has been happening is that the old man has just decided to live and let live. My impression after watching the two episodes is that (1) We don't have a police force in the way modern countries know them: ours are just thieves and murderers who are on the road and street not to keep order but to LOOT and LOOT and KILL in that order (2) GoK cannot question or rein in the police because both are believers in that same philosophy of looting and killing - so, "let the police be busy stealing just as we do" (3) There is some probability that the so-called Wife No 2 is in this: how can someone use AP trucks to be transporting drugs if he (She) is not high up? And who was high enough to sanction the "Armenians" who were made Deputy Commissioners of Police?

The whole saga stinks to high heaven. My heartfelt sympathies for those kids doomed to grow without the benefit of fatherly love and guidance.

Agreed.Ati now the police have launched investigations on the police killing. What an oxymoron.A PR exercise. The story mentions a Current Cabinet Minister,Assistant Minister and MP as the drug barons who facilitated the entry of the drugs into kenya.

My guess is kilome MP harun Mwau and probably one of the coast Mps.I do not know who the cabinet minister could be,but i hope the whole truth comes out.

As for julius Sunkuli,he should be serving life imprisonment for commissioning a murder.

My worst fears.. just came to pass the Kenyan nation and especially the ruling class is still along way from embracing both a provocative and proactive investigative journalism which by all accounts is utmost, perceived as just atleast in courts of public opinion. And just when you thought we were there.. apparently some stones felt unsettled, very sad indeed moving forward.

KTN Inside Report: Dennis Onsarigo Hiding In Europe: Ali Mohamed Also Headed Somewhere

Quote:
MONDAY, 21 NOVEMBER 2011 15:26 BY JACKAL NEWS

JACKAL NEWS – Dennis Onsarigo, one of the two Kenya Televison Network journalists, who prepared the controversial cocaine and police killing investigative report is hiding in Europe, sources told the Jackal News. His colleague, Mohamed Ali, is reportedly headed to the same location or the United States.

Well, here we go now. "I am very sure he is," in Europe, a source told the Jackal News. Earlier, another source said Ali was either headed to a European nation -- which has a reputation of habouring fleeing journalists and political dissidents -- or the United States.

The pair has been trailed by unknown people after they reported a deeply depressing investigative report on the six-billion-shilling cocaine haul that was napped in Kenya about seven years ago and the subsequent alleged killing of policemen who were linked to the probe.

Police have since announced intentions to sue the Standard Group, the parent company of KTN that broadcast the report that embarrased many top personalities. If the pair end up in Norway, they will certainly join another fearless Kenyan journalist Philo Ikonya, who has opened base in the neutral European nation, after being harrased by authorities.

The revelations come after Jackal News reported that some unknown people have been following Ali while he attended class in the Nairobi Campus of Moi University. At one point, they entered the lecture room and without talking to anybody, panned accross the room apparently in search of Ali.

This has forced Ali, a fourth year student of Communication and Public Relations to abandon examinations and flee for his life. Recenty, the Standard Newspaper reported that the pair's life is danger -- possibly from the police or the drug mafia linked to the cocaine.

sadly that is the reality of our nation. we are nothing but mavi ya kuku in the eyes of our leaders. they will kill us and feed us to the dogs in a heartbeat the moment we start exposing their sh!t and wicked ways.

my opinion is, this drug money is used as for campaigns(THINK ABOUT IT WHERE DO THESE POLITICIANS GET ALL THIS MONEY FOR PRESIDENTIAL CAPMAIGNS???). this drug mone is the only way PNU and ODM can raise money for all their flashy campaigns and rallies without having another corruption scandal because corruption scandals attract the attention of donors(pising off the donors is a no-no for the GoK)

we need this damn constitution to be implemented properly so that we have strong independent institutions

HELP ME, can someone write put the stuff chris murungaru was saying(atleast the important stuff) i could make out what he was saying towards the end

This shit stinks truth the secrecy that surrounded this cocaine haul(Largest in EA history) shows that critical government bureaucracies and persons are steeped deep into this cocaine carousel and party politics are definitely in cahoots. Wonder where this narco-state of affairs will lead us into next especially when coupled by our ingrained love for corruption, and worse our so called custodians; the Kenyan police(AP & GSU.. Et al) which is perhaps some of the most crudest and unprofessional in the southern hemisphere for a peaceful state in their conduct of affairs - Can they rise to occasion? They have been proudly brandishing the trophy for the most corrupt institution in Kenya since the TI rankings began. And as for the constitution the rape has just began and Mutula is the High-Priest this season... God have mercy!

Yeah heard about Onsarigo fleeing to Europe after the death threats. You would think some "sane" politicans (if there are any) would discuss this, they are simply not interested or they are all rotten to the core.
We are going to become a narco state like Equatorial Guinea (if we ain't already one), and powerful drug Lords may soon be helping stage coups in Kenya. This is sad, so so sad.

It brought shivers down my spine, even the devil must have some sense of decency.
To force someone to eat a fellow man's brain, you have to lose your humanity, and that is exactly what happened to those silly cops. They are not human!!
