Thanks yourself for all your great updates.
No, it´s the same camera, Fuji. I do miss my old Canon a bit and am considering buying a new one.
I think the main reason for the photo quality is better lighting due to the time of year. Roll on spring

They have now started the metal cladding of the roof of the Blue Planet.
Photo is a large enlargement of the webcam picture, therefore the poor quality.

Another highrise on it's way on Amager. The location is the corner of Øresundsvej and Krimsvej, right next to Øresund tower. The skyline is really starting to look impressing.

"Danica Ejendomme bygger højhus ved Amager Strandpark mens Arkitektgruppen er udvikler og totalentreprenør.
Der opføres 101 udlejningsboliger som er tegnet af Årstiderne Arkitekter.
Projektet er på 10.766 m2, hvoraf ca. 1.100 m2 er butikker og resten boliger.
Højhuset er på 21 etager og bliver den højeste bygning i området."

I like it too. The view must be absolutely spectacular from the upper balconies.

Excuse me, I adore the size of the building, beeauutiful with some taller constructions in the city scabe, but that said - honestly - the character of this design is rubbish, without any sign of talent and fantasy none so ever, and so poor and old school that my bones hurt inside me. It's shamefull how bad the design is.

Tell your collegues that Silkebaronen.

I agree entirely. It looks like the slum tower blocks all over England, which they are demolishing as fast as they can.
They view and price will probably save this one from becoming a slum.
Årstiderne architects should be able to do better and where is the new city architect in this case?

+1
altaner i 21 sals højde på et af de mest vindblæste steder i københavn. Det er da en fantastisk ide!

The 3 years old project - Twister Tower - might get a come back on the beach according to

KBH Magasinet.

Who would have believed that the east cost of Amager would be the new area for high rises in town. I count now around 6 of them more than 40 meters high.

Wow that is another project I had never thought we would see again. Now I would really like to see Lundgaard & Tranberg's highrises in Tuborg Havn get going. And the Battery please.

I would bring you them all on a silver platter if possible, though you have to do with this qoute from the leading director in Arkitektgruppen.
Quote:
I don't know about you folks, but personnaly it's a bit confusing what is going to happen where, so I'll try to summarize it here
If realised the following projects will come up at Eastamager very soon:

Twister Tower, 15 storeys, Danica & Arktektgruppen, Amager Strandvej,
Øresund Tower 13 storeys, ongoing Danica & Arkitektgruppen, completed 2013
The high rise at Krimsvej 21 storeys, Danica & Arkitektgruppen, Amager strandpark,
High rise at Krimsvej KPC and Arkitema 12 storeys,
High rise at Krimsvej KPC and Arkitema 15 storeys,
Strandlodsvej, complex of housings at least 3 X 10 storeys buildings, Sophienberg Ejendomsudvikling & Holscher architects/Domus architects.

I think you guys are way to rough on the Årstiderne tower. It's always difficult to judge the quality of the materials in such a rendering, but I think it looks promising. I like the subtle variations on the facade and balconies. The comparison with British slum towers isn't fair IMO, this one is much more elegant. And doesn't look any different from some of the stuff we see in Ørestad.

Maybe it was oratorical pushed a little to hard, especially on a vague background in terms of the rendering, and if Silkebaronen felt sad or insulted it wasn't the purpose and I owe him an apologize.
I only think the proposal could have turned out better, and think it's a shame that we still construct houses like this in 2012, even we know in a few years time looks worn-out. I ask myself if I would move in with my 2 kids, raising them here in a small apartment on 17 floor. Not in this one.

I don't feel sad or insulted at all. I don't work for Årstiderne any longer. They are now a customer of mine. But I didn't make the rendering either. Since they are my customer, I just don't like to criticize them.
