Iraqi poems

Since we have a music thread then why not also a poem thread?

I like arabic poetry and iraqi poems very very much, but first we have to ask Big Dreamer if it's okay??!

little fact: Mesopotamia (Iraq) is the first country or region that started writing poems in world history.

even Dante's poems is nothing compared to a simple iraqi poem!

Well it's the first place that started writing, so not surprising they are going to be the first to write poems.

unknown poet
