Actually, not really. Spain is one of the developped economies with the lowest debt-to-GDP ratio currently standing at around 60%, which is a huge difference compared to many other economies such as France, UK, Germany and the US. The current problems in Spain comes down to the archaic labor laws and unbalanced economy, not to the public debt.

Translation: Spain isn't like Grece, the global crisis was caused by other countries and our crisis was provoked by uncontrolled construction, but I'm sure we'll move forward completely safe.

Yes Spain is stronger than greece i believe it too!

But if they continue to make public expenses like this (look unfinished valencia stadium) it could be a danger for them and for europe.

Some usa federal states are in bankruptcy

The Valencia CF stadium is a private project. It's private debt.

men, please, stop!!!you are being a completely ignorant about economy, and a perfect example of the manipulated european citizen by de media. You don't know anything about spanish economy and it seems taht you don't know anything about other european countries. The problems of the debt is just capitalist speculations, and spain will not stop just becuse a guys that wnat to charge more interest to exploit the crisis

You are becoming a troll about the spanish debt and you don't know anything, so let's start to study the black history form the countries that you think that has done things right and you will discover that they are the truly problem

You are absolutely right! This gentleman does not seem to know much about economy and not much of your country either although Spain is the major (in terms of size at least) neighbor of France... By the way, congratulations for the Valencia stadium as I was reading that the works will soon resume although that seems annoy him for some unknown reason or is it maybe something called jealousy?... Who knows!

Un saludo...
