It will go all the way to Noveleta, Cavite. At present, it will first build the link to Kawit, Cavite. In the end, the Expressway will have three exits, don't know the exact names yet, but one will be in Bacoor, one in Kawit and one in Noveleta.

I think General Trias is not a coastal town. So, you have to pass through smaller national/provincial roads when you want to get there. And yeah, I think there are two ways...at least I know two ways...to get there. One is from SLEX through Governor's Drive (?) and the other one is going all the way from Coastal Road.

It's the first time I've seen a picture of road work at Coastal. We've been trying to avoid that area since forever!(Just take a look at the pic...it's so traffic!) It looks very promising though.

I made that map.

By the way, I don't think that satellite picture is very recent. In the same picture in Google Earth, I can see that construction on the Mall of Asia isn't finished yet.

There is also a road being built in Cavite City extension market that is likely to link with that Coastal Expressway... i think one of the exits will be in Cavite City not in Noveleta bec. there is no road being built that is like to link Noveleta to that area. There is also no coastal area in Noveleta facing Bacoor or Cañacao bay. Cavite City extension to bay area is already built and the road towards the town is already widen up - I think ready to accomodate big buses. It is waiting for the Coastal area to link it up.

General trials is quite far. It is near the southernmost part of Cavite It is near tanza and naic. Before you go for General trias you have to go through bacoor, kawit then noveleta, rosario, then gen trias... that was before but now the bacao road was open and now there is as easy linked to manila.

It will be one of the most beautiful highway in the Philippines considering that it will capture the great scenic view of the ocean and to top it all, possibly the beautiful sunset by the bay. Will the sunset be visible in that area? Anybody?

Wouldn't this route be easier? Hehehe.... But nah, it would cause heavy traffic.

Anyway, Ian, is this what you said it would be?

It would go to Cavite's Public Market.

Philippine Navy... Fort San Felipe. Although it wouldnt happen since its a military base and the ruins of the former walled city will deteriorate even more.

The new Cavite City Public Market is what I'm talking about. A road "cut" (putol) was contructed incompletely facing the bacoor or cañacao bay at the back area.

Aaaaah....You mean this one?

I think this is the plan for that...

Marcelo IPG Industrial and Aqua Farming Park

Location: Bacoor Bay, Cavite City
Area: 136 hectares
Preferred Industries: Light to medium scale industries.
Developer / Operator: Marcelo Biotech Inc.
Equity Participation: 100% Filipino
Contact Person: Mr. George Marcelo
Telephone No.: (02) 362-3571
Fax No.: (02) 361-6322
E-Mail: -

From: http://www.peza.gov.ph/ecozones/regi...te/marcelo.htm

Well, I wish that the land become a commercial center...not an industrial one...Nothing has been happening in this area aside from the construction of the new city public market.
